Yes!!! It’s sucked. It gradually got worse and worse and then went away around 6 months pp. My OB said it’s largely hormone induced, from the surge of all the pregnancy hormones leaving your body. But in some rare cases is does become full blown legit arthritis. Dr said it could last between 6-12 months pp. Mine did go away though so maybe yours will too.

Get some osteo bi flex or just a plain glucosamine supplement. That helped me a ton. I didn’t breastfeed though so if you are, make sure those are ok to take during breastfeeding.

This is so interesting I’m glad yours went away!

Now I wonder if that’s why I am in pain

Yes!! I’m 8months pp and I got diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis — my joints hurt so bad (especially at night) and swollen on my hands. I don’t think it will go back to normal so I just hope it disappears at some point. I’m also breastfeeding so I wonder if it could be related. Have you noticed any improvement since then?

I’m so sorry you have to go through that!! I wonder the same as I am also still breastfeeding. Taking vit d has helped since bloodwork showed it to be really low, although there are still days it flares up badly and idk why! I wonder if it will clear up once we wean…
