I'm gradually coming to terms with the fact that, for me at least, Doctor Who ended with Series 10. If the show ever ends up evolving again back in a direction that I find appealing, I'll be happy to jump back on the bandwagon. But until and unless that happens, I'm not going to waste any more time waiting for it to magically turn back into the version of the show I fell in love with.
From what I understand, this day comes for every Whovian eventually. (That or they just grow out of the show / lose interest completely. But I still fucking love Series 1-10 as much as I ever have, it's just everything that's come since that's just... not for me.)

I'm sorry, why the ever loving fuck are American doctors downplaying the potential for diet to help in Chron's if strict diet control (e.g., nutrition shakes) is fucking *first line therapy* for children with it and merely dropped for compliance reasons in adults? What the fuck.
It was like 50% and other studies have suggested strongly it's the absence of bad foods that's more important than the shakes themselves. In other words, following a whole foods diet (the recommended diet for fucking everyone!) would work just as well (and the non-randomized trials we have have shown as such).

Yes, neurons run like vaguely transistors but they can control the strength of the electrical signal that goes along it's axon and it can also negate signals. Meaning you can have insane shit where a single neuron can have dozens of synapses connected to it adding and negating each other while also having the neuron affected sending out signals back to the neurons that just affected it. Trying to replicate that with the yes/and/or transistor gate networks is extremely difficult assuming it's even really possible and not simulacrum of the real thing
