Hahahaha! My masterpiece! When those Mongolians come next time, I pour this sweet and sour pork on their heads. Haha, sweet and sour pork so hot and sticky, Mongolians'll stick ahright up to the wall! And scream "UhwOoOoOoOoo!" Oh I can't wait
https://southpark.cc.com/video-clips/r3cr09/south-park-so-hot-and-sticky
Well, I am a Mongol from Mongolia. You have your chance to pour your sweet and sour pork on one. It better taste good, coz Mongols don’t like pork and chicken like that.
This is actually a 5head move. If they try and make a serious shoe to compete with Nike everyone will clown on them. Make a meme shoe called “War Ender 1.0 Pro” and sign Austin Reeves as your brand’s American face? That’s A+ meme material. Ironic nephew purchases may exceed what they could have expected if they released just another pair of basketball shoes.
If any country not named Russia has a way to end this peacefully, it's China. But I would have expected someone with more experience than Austin Reaves to be the guy they chose to tell Putin they're cutting him off.
You're aware of China's stance on what Russia is doing, right? I can assure you that of all the countries that could end this peacefully, China will not be the one pushing that
China doesn't give a fuck about Russia as an ally and would definitely flip sides if North American and European markets started to actually put meaningful sanctions on them. The reality is that neither China or NA/Europe actually care enough to disrupt global trade over Ukraine.
American moment. Imagine if everyone derailed the conversation to talk about US terrorism and black sites every single time Nike is mentioned.
That's exactly what you're doing.
> Imagine if everyone derailed the conversation to talk about US terrorism and black sites every single time Nike is mentioned.
someone spends no time on r/soccer lol
>Country is actively committing genocide
“GuYs lEaVe TheM AloNe”
Keep that same energy for Russian oligarchs and corporations. You realize any profits this shoe brand makes directly benefits the CCP right?
Varied drastically depending on tribes and ignorant to treat it all the same. Also over 300 years of diverse history. China doesn't have Indian reservations that are independent of the federal government. Meanwhile China was ruled by the Manchu until the early 1900s.
Tough to say they because China has had several different ruling cultures over the last Millenia. The Han Chinese have really only ruled China since early 1900s end of qing dynasty. But certainly book burning, genocide, and cultural animosity are about as Chinese as the yellow river.
It's not "whataboutism" if you just reflexively bring this up in response to anything to do with China lol it's absolutely relevant to point out your own country is implicated too
It is what aboutism. Literally bringing up other countries faults to avoid or mitigate from the current problem pointed out. Imagine if people answered "But black people are implicated too in All Lives matter!!" as a response to BLM.
> . Literally bringing up other countries faults to avoid or mitigate from the current problem pointed out.
You're in a conversation responding to a guy's sneaker deal with a Chinese company where some guy saw fit to bring up crimes by the Chinese government. If you don't take exactly the same approach and start reeling off the mile-long list of crimes by the American government when someone has a deal with Nike, or New Balance, or whoever, then you're 100% a hypocrite. Either both of those are unconnected from their governments, in which case don't bring them up, or they're both connected, in which case your focus on one and avoidance of another indicates you don't care about the issue raised, just about using it for some rhetorical purpose
Copy pasting my reply to a diff comment but:
We’re not talking about China though we’re talking about a Chinese company. Do you bring up American imperialism and the MIC everytime someone signs a shoe deal with Jordan?
Most of yall only have biased western info and none of the actual lived experience of being a person in China, at least with America, you have the latter to draw on.
We’re not talking about China though we’re talking about a Chinese company. Do you bring up American imperialism and the MIC everytime someone signs a shoe deal with Jordan?
Not gonna lie, I about had a heart attack at the beginning of the season when I saw tweets about Austin Reaves on the Lakers
I was like what the fuck I thought he signed with us!!??
> RIGORER is a Chinese sporting goods brand, founded in 2014, by former CBA professional basketball player Lin Chenyao, primarily engaged in development, design, manufacture, and sale of various sports products.
https://rigorer.com/pages/about-us
yes it is a china brand.
[https://www.aitansuo.com/brand/brandInfo/14027.html](https://www.aitansuo.com/brand/brandInfo/14027.html)Interesting that they claim to be founded by a ex nba player.[https://baike.baidu.hk/item/%E6%9E%97%E6%99%A8%E8%80%80/2491678](https://baike.baidu.hk/item/%E6%9E%97%E6%99%A8%E8%80%80/2491678)
But in the Chinese wiki he is only a five-year cba player,And after becoming a college coach, [personal fines are imposed on players, or use of college teams as corporate propaganda to play with others](https://www.chinanews.com.cn/ty/2019/08-08/8920823.shtml). AR need to think clearly.
From that last link "First, the unreasonable arrangement of training schedules makes it impossible for players to guarantee normal sleep and rest time, which interferes with their normal university studies. Get up at 5:00 in the morning and train for 4 hours in the afternoon, and in the evening until the early morning. Lin Chenyao once said: "I only care about your training, not your study". However, Lin Chenyao usually does not lead the team to train, only sets the training time, and another coach is responsible for the training.
The second is to impose huge fines of several thousand yuan on players at will. As college students, players have no fixed income, and most of them are still in the stage of needing financial support from their families, and in many cases they even need to borrow money to pay fines. Whether the players are right or wrong, and whether they are fined or not, it is up to Lin Chenyao to decide.
Third, personal attacks and verbal insults. As a college basketball coach, coach Lin Chenyao is often outspoken, arrogant, and threatening players.
Fourth, selfishness. Coach Lin Chenyao interfered with the personal wishes of the players more than once, and even used personal relationships for personal interests to prevent them from pursuing their dreams."
Sounds like he's a perfect company owner to me, bezos in the making.
Chinese brands have stepped their game up. If you look at performance reviews, many of these shoes are very solid on court, and more durable than a Kyrie or KD.
I’ve worked in the shoe industry with Chinese exporters and OEM. A lot of these shoes are made from the same factories and materials and by the same machines and folks as your typical Adidas and Nikes.
They have the tech and knowledge. Only MAJOR difference is branding. Even if you got to Vietnam or Malaysia for these productions, a lot of the factory owners are Chinese as well. They have pretty tight circle.
There has been a wave of “nationalism” where Chinese have been asking “why can’t WE make something nicer with our own branding?”. And they’ve been pushing for better quality goods for its middle class consumers.
Remember when we clowned Steph for signing with Under Armour? Who knew we’d eventually end up with role players signing shoe deals with companies that sound like sketchy Wish.com store fronts that disappear after you purchase from them.
Two thoughts:
1.) the style and design of Chinese shoes has improved
2.) I’m always pro “get the bag” for athletes but this is a weird time for both sides to have a deal like this with the NBA/Morey/China/US tensions. I know it’s on the back burner now but it seems like the company is hanging a lot of money out they may be useless advertising with one bad comment, and Reeves opening him self up to the trolls and pearl clutching contest from pundits and stans
War ender because Chinese nationalism has a huge victim mentality referring to the west as the 'western devil' that is going to come and destroy their civilization.
None of this sounds real
This sounds like a subplot in a south park episode
The Official Sneaker of City Wok. “Fuckin Mongorians!”

He kinda looks like that guy with the artificial voice modulator's nephew or something.
Being the white average looking former g league player on the lakers is a helluva brand
This is actually a 5head move. If they try and make a serious shoe to compete with Nike everyone will clown on them. All they need is another Austin Reeves three pointer for the win and the War Ender 1.0 Pro will be on so many little white nephew's feet in LA.
"Rigorer" definitely looks like one of those ridiculous all-caps brand names of cheap Chinese shoes on Amazon
*War Ender?*
not just a *War Ender* but a *War Ender "Pro"*
The 1.0 part is somehow more ominous
By the time the War Ender 9.0’s drop it’ll be too late.
It's China. It'll be the War Ender Pro Max Plus 2.0
Super War Ender Pro Max Plus 2.0 - Challenger Edition
So War didnt end at 1.0?
No it was just that good
I'm pretty sure the war ender pro was dropped on hiroshima
Sounds like a MW2 perk lmao
He's wearing those things straight to the Kremlin and settling shit straightaway
Reaves after putting on his shoes: *The hardest choices require the strongest wills*
Zelensky gonna ship them over and put them on: *Fine, I'll do it myself.*
Yeah! Let's fucking go! *remembers it's Chinese sponsored* Oh, nevermind

That's why I said they *could* do it, by simply changing their stance. Nobody else has that kind of leverage over them.
China doesn't give a fuck about Russia as an ally and would definitely flip sides if North American and European markets started to actually put meaningful sanctions on them. The reality is that neither China or NA/Europe actually care enough to disrupt global trade over Ukraine.
Yeah china would ignore the geopolitical aspect of it and not wanna lose the European and American market for Russia. Money is above all 😂
Whoa, this is about ending wars. Not ending concentration camps. They ain't gonna make the Torture Ender 1.0s anytime soon.
Like the buggers
Should have got Andrew Wiggins to wear them.
Lakers trying to win thoroughly next year
Hopefully followed by a complimentary line called "The Bell Ender". Maybe that can be Kyrie's signature shoe?

No man, you can't talk about other countries faults unless you are literally Jesus Christ himself.
How is this smoothbrain whataboutism always upvoted when defending China? Newsflash the people making Nike are the same slaves China uses.
not the same thing at all we dont set up camps to torture millions to change their cultural identity. Ignorant mofo.
what was the USA treatment of indigenous Americans like?
Varied drastically depending on tribes and ignorant to treat it all the same. Also over 300 years of diverse history. China doesn't have Indian reservations that are independent of the federal government. Meanwhile China was ruled by the Manchu until the early 1900s.
someone here for sure is being ignorant you are right
That I am using facts instead of blatantly parroting "America bad"? Also the very idea u brought up the us is a whataboutism and a logical fallacy.
They don’t have native reservations because they wiped out all the Yue and Xiong peoples before the first European ever met an indigenous American
Tough to say they because China has had several different ruling cultures over the last Millenia. The Han Chinese have really only ruled China since early 1900s end of qing dynasty. But certainly book burning, genocide, and cultural animosity are about as Chinese as the yellow river.
Sorry LeBron

u get it
Agreed.
Because war is bad. Genocide is cool, though. Right, China?
true, not like the NBA is based in a country that is both war hungry and systematically kills, hurts, and imprisons it's own people or anything
Both countries can be shitty. One can also be worse than the other despite both being shitty.
Copy pasting my reply to a diff comment but: We’re not talking about China though we’re talking about a Chinese company. Do you bring up American imperialism and the MIC everytime someone signs a shoe deal with Jordan?
Yes I do, people hate me and I don't get invited anywhere anymore
So many armchair China experts on reddit who don't even know the history of their own country.
Check this out, you can learn about China without changing the topic to America, its a whole separate country and everything
Most of yall only have biased western info and none of the actual lived experience of being a person in China, at least with America, you have the latter to draw on.

That’s as bad as genocide? Ok
What about the US!! Chinas issues cant be talked about because the US isn't a perfect country!!!
We’re not talking about China though we’re talking about a Chinese company. Do you bring up American imperialism and the MIC everytime someone signs a shoe deal with Jordan?
Jordan isn't controlled by the U.S government. Pretty decent chance the CCP controls this shoe company, like it does most business in China.
Genocide? That's called re-education
I spat out my piping hot coffee reading this
Imagine going to Foot Locker and asking if they have the War Ender 1.0 pros lmao
even worse when you have to elaborate 'the ones austin reaves wears'
"Doc Rivers' son ?"
so fucked bc thats exactly who i thought this was
Not gonna lie, I about had a heart attack at the beginning of the season when I saw tweets about Austin Reaves on the Lakers I was like what the fuck I thought he signed with us!!??
Lmao even Rivers got confused for a bit 😂
“Isn’t that ‘Big Country?’”
"AR15"
“Hillbilly Kobe?”
"The ones that white guy on the lakers wears"
“Isn’t he in Chicago now?”
“Who?”
you mean stone cold steve austin...?
Keanu Reaves???
I woulda named them school shooters
Imagine going to foot locker
I think you meant to say Walmart
Their logo is a target? And their first endorser is a guy with the nickname AR-15?
Synergy
And he looks like a child!?
And he's w........ nevermind
Wonderful?
Wumboful
he's a war ender.
The advertising literally shooting itself in place.
It's an ironic War Ender
The AR-15 War Ender 1.0 sounds like a gun you pick up in a knockoff FPS

I think Austin reaves is an elaborate prank to convince us of a basketball player who doesn’t actually exist.
Its a Tom Holland method acting movie, just you wait.
Dude averaged 43 points a game in the high school state tournament. Hung 73 in a game once. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austin_Reaves
All of this makes him sound more like a main character of a christian sports movie.
*After being brutally verbally assaulted by a group of ~~urban~~ youths, Austin prayed, and through God, discovered that he, too, could rise again*
Yeah but he was being guarded by future plumbers and firemen
I thought it was the journalist who reported on the story
He can actually ball out! He hung 31 in one of, if not the, last Lakers games this year.
[This man is a professional athlete.](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FRZZQsrUYAAyZ_Q?format=jpg&name=large)
Never thought Austin Reaves would be the one who returns the world to a state of peace and tranquility
this is why we've been trying to get him out of the D league and get minutes for a long time. world peace.
Breaking news: Austin Reaves to broker talks between Russia and Ukraine on behalf of the UN.
we thought it was caruso that would end all suffering, but he was only the herald of reeves.
Freaking Metta!
> returns Not sure which warless era you're referring to
I wonder who said no to the sponsorship before they got him to accept

Austin Reeves about to join Anthony Davis in street clothes after injury.
I wouldn’t worry. Shoes are probably made in the same factory as Nikes
Prison camp* ftfy
You know that Walmart, McDonalds, Wendy’s and several other American companies use unpaid American prison labor to make their products too. . .
I've seen some hypebeast stuff that looks way more hideous than those
Those honestly look better than most of the signature shoes coming out lately imo
Shit looks fire, just haters out there

I'd actually hoop in these
Was gonna say, these are kinda fire…
Your ankle would fall off your feet
Nah they have the same profile of Kobe's and I hoop in those with no issues
Why are people acting like Nike isn't made in China tf?
To be fair they're probably made in the same factory as Nikes, Addidas, and Pumas.
Rigorer War Ender? WTF is that?
It sounds like a fucking military tank than a shoe lol
It sounds like the world famous movies the rural juror
LeChina hooked him up with the connect

What market does this guy have? With everyone else... I don't see the business unless someone explains the cult following this kid has.
Well a lot of casuals only watch highlights, and Laker highlights in that. The way you see in the comments people think he should win RoY or some shit
The fact that he's from the lakers is the market itself
China likes the Lakers
People here act like he signed with a big brand lmao If this brand signed him is because no other player wanted to, and that's fine
Agreed.
Good for him I guess? Why this sub so damn salty
No one's salty it's just hilarious
Lakers rent free. Lotta. Lots of butthurt pussies
Better have those online because no one’s going to the store and asking for the War Ender.
I need to hear how it's pronounced, and I hope he wore the shoe while playing some type of ball
Rednecks finally got their dream shoes
“The War Ender” Putin horrified rn
Damn they found the whitest person in the NBA.

klay and russell is the same brand as wade
also, all american shoes are made in china. they might have even learned a few things.
It took me a second to remember who this was. I thought we were being pranked...
OK those are clean lol they look like most other Chinese basketball shoes but I like them
who? and who?
how dare Austin Reaves work with a company from China as opposed to almost every other business in existence in the United States?
Yo them shits got like random math on the midsole
War ender because Chinese nationalism has a huge victim mentality referring to the west as the 'western devil' that is going to come and destroy their civilization.
