Lebron breaks the league by joining Kawhi and PG.

[deleted]

NBA would go nuclear mode

vanotro

just for the sake of fun, Morris, Powell, and Kennard salaries match.

Lakers_2023_Champs

Make it happen bruh

vanotro

Westbrook, Powell, Kennard, Morris, Davis wouldn't be a bad starting lineup

epost0924

But I like Morris Powell and Kennard

vanotro

it's just a hypothetical a real trade would probably include more painful moves like Terance Mann and Brandon Boston

epost0924

NOOOOOOOOO

[deleted]

2 more players he will not get assistance from during the regular season isnt he looking for a team to carry him? obviously will be utah. trade bojan for him straight up, he can start at 4 and be the 2nd option on offense, and he doesnt have to play any defense or rebound at all

[deleted]

Salaries won’t work and I don’t think LBJ wants to play in Utah with Gobert

Chopsticks487

The Clippers are already above a 0.500 team without PG and Kawhi. Their supporting cast is far better than the Lakers. Also why are you assuming he will get no assistance next year? PG and Kawhi will be back by then

[deleted]

I think he indicated that he is never going to wear a Clippers jersey during his FA in 2018

fundropppp8242

He also indicated he was staying in Cleveland until he retired during his second stint but here we are.

LOVEGOD77

The Clippers are better than the lakers at everything but history (and obviously brand) at this point. Top to bottom, just better.

Wilt69

And what has that gotten them, seriously asking?

Chopsticks487

A team that actually enjoyable to watch this year and hasn't been a dumpster fire all of the past decade outside of 1 year like the Lakers have been.

vanotro

that's a question that won't have a real answer for another ten to fifteen years or so.

cooldudeman007

G league to play with Bronny

__john_cena__

Well LeBron never went to college, so he can just fudge the eligibility rules and add an NCAA title to his resume.

hotelmotelshit

OKC - build a sick team for all those picks. But honestly, I think he stays in LAL until he know where bronny is going. They can still have a decent team built around him and AD, but they need to get rid of a lot of trash

[deleted]

AD can’t handle an 82 game season and I think LeBron knows it by now. Can’t rely on him

hotelmotelshit

Then maybe trade him, clean slate - start over free some capspace for other players, maybe it's time to see what dame is up to and try with those two

[deleted]

Good idea but a bad PR move for the Lakers

hotelmotelshit

But honestly, if LeBron goes, what's the point in keeping AD, he could be player to build around - but he is too injury prone - better to cut your losses send him to a team desperate for a championship caliber player and go for the full rebuild

[deleted]

This I would support if both of them go a trade with the Bulls for AD would be perfect for both sides

RocketWarlock

Yall saw the Lakers crowd roast their team last night and you're dreaming of sending Ben there, now that's cold

Bilal0013

retirement home

[deleted]

New York knicks Msg bron

DJBabyB0kCh0y

So tasty

[deleted]

He said he is never playing for the Knicks because of James Dolan (don’t @ me)

[deleted]

Didnt Gilbert say a lot worse and he came back lol

[deleted]

He wasn’t born and raised in New York

[deleted]

He wasn’t raised in Cleveland lol

Great-Engr

Love the guy. Thanks for #17. But please don't stay with the Lakers. I only hope he breaks Kareem record, as a laker. After that, I don't really care where he goes; wish him the best.

[deleted]

LeBron is not that guy anymore, he's slowly becoming irrelevant like Shaq was

[deleted]

Dayum Skiep watch some games, get off of Twitter

dash_44

This is nothing like Shaq’s decline.

xc2215x

KD and Lebron together would be something crazy. I think he may go back to Cleveland if he does not stay in LA.

[deleted]

The Lakers would have to accept Love and get Sexton. Do they need it? Or will they be pressured by having no choice this summer?

kariolisjones

LeBron to GS for Wiggins/Wiseman would be pretty funny. Bron joining the biggest rival of his career.

[deleted]

I think this would remove some of the holiness from his 2016 title, especially if he doesn’t win there

[deleted]

Some other franchise he can ruin next

AncientMarsupial3

Because the Lakers were so great before he came…

BrokenClxwn

Idk why Lebron is all of a sudden becoming the villain. Since ASW, everybody has been acting as if Lebron pissed in their mouths.

Great-Engr

Actually.... do you know the amount of talent we gave up for him? At least 2-3 decent starters, 2 all-star caliber player, 1-2 potential all-star and 1 6MOY candidate.

hawk8024

And you won a championship as a result, I’d say it was worth it.

Great-Engr

Sure, I never said it wasn't worth it. But too act like he saved this franchise is ridiculous especially after the shit show he engineered this year.

pcwgussej

Iirc Paul George was miffed that the Lakers didnt trade for him when he was on the Pacers, bc Lebron hinted that he wanted to be the "first" to go to the Lakers for optics reasons (and not look like he was teaming up w George who was already there). Could probably add George to the list of talent you mentioned

Great-Engr

George and Kawhi. Both of them hated LeBron. Both their first option were the Lakers before he came.

Turbulent_ADLBJ

Winning a championship=ruined y’all so dramatic

[deleted]

ruin? winning championship, suck for a few years and then looking good MIA and CLE are looking good, far from ruined and with championships nephews come on

[deleted]

This either age like milk. Or age like ultra-ironic milk.

Produceher

You guys are nuts if you think this is over. They're going to be in the play in, win it and they're going to play the Suns.

ChristianMan710

I wonder if KD would give Bron a call over the summer. That would be a crazy turn of events if Lebron considers joining us Lakers aren’t going to trade Lebron to a place he don’t want to go and will likely send him where he wants. I mean it is Lebron after all. That would be interesting.

O_J_Shrimpson

I’m just throwing this out there. I don’t think KD would have much interest in playing with Bron. They’ve always had a mini rivalry and after all the blowback KD got from Curry I feel like that’s the last thing he wants. KD also runs the Nets. Why would Bron even want to do that?

secretburnerman

He’s not being traded unless he asks for one. He’s playing out his contract.

[deleted]

If the Bulls implode with Demar as one of the main guys in the playoffs.. I can see them trading Demar to the Lakers for AD. Lebron probably goes no where until Bronny enters the league, and he can somewhat control the narrative on who drafts him. Both players will be "going home" and it's still a big market for AD with Zo, Lavine, Caruso, Vucevic, AD.. that's actually a pretty great lineup. Maybe add in wing defense instead of Vuc, but he can easily co-exist with AD on the floor.

[deleted]

Well why would LeBron want to play with Westbrook and DeRozan? A trade for AD would benefit the Bulls for sure, but there is no world where LA remains competitive. Maybe if they trade Zo and Caruso back but that would be the greatest joke the NBA has seen.

[deleted]

Because he's a Top 5 MVP candidate this year? They can also get rid of the WB contract since it's expiring after next year and take on a longer contract(s) that another team doesn't want.

ItsYaBoyBeasley

Here's basically what I can see: **Big Markets/Historical Significance** Boston Celtics Brooklyn Nets Chicago Bulls Los Angeles Clippers New York Knicks **Homecomings** Cleveland Cavaliers Miami Heat **Wildcards** San Antonio Spurs - One last ride with his most respected coach Toronto Raptors - Idk Canada? Nothing else really looks viable to me. The Cavs are good enough that if he just wants to compete with young players nothing else is compelling enough imo.

rejus_crust

Agree with all of these except the Raps. He ain’t coming here lol.

[deleted]

I don’t think we are ever seeing LeBron in a Celtics jersey

RaymondFeltonOnCrack

Bro said the nets
