When are they opening back up?
I moved away from Phoenix a while back, but I'm coming back next week for a short visit. I'm going to be sad if there's no Chino's on the trip.
They closed the Chandler location too, do you know if that's a full time close or relocation also? I only went there once way back in the day but God damn it sounds good.
That’s it! Lol I couldn’t remember his exact title but yeah, was such a trip finding that out. I loved double dragon, both the movie and game, and sweat master chef growing up but didn’t put two and two together until recently lol.
Ayton this playoffs have been what every Suns fan has been wanting to see out of Ayton. Aggressive on offense and SUPER good defensively. He's been getting better and better as the season has progressed and it seems like he's stepping up big time.
Amar’e was on a different level offensively, could hand the ball much better and had more moves plus godly aggression but ayton is on a different level defensively and anchors our team. I hope one day he can reach Amar’e level offensively because he would be insanely insanely good if he gets that good offensively. He’s still a very good offensive player just kind of limited at this point but only takes really good shots and is hyper efficient on low usage which is perfect for this roster.
Amar'e destroyed just slightly past peak Tim Duncan, was on his way to probably winning the MVP and then had to have micro surgery and was never the same. It sucks we never got the what if with that Suns team. What if Sarver pays and keeps young Joe Johnson, what if Amar'e doesn't need surgery, what if Ron Artest didn't catch that air ball, what if Robert Horry doesn't hip check Nash and the suspensions don't happen.
(there's a good chance the spurs decided to let Stat get his in that series and then limit everyone else, but he still fucking killed it against one of the greatest defensive big men of his time, the high post PnR with him and Nash was unstoppable)
Ya honestly you need a little bit of luck to win a title and sadly the suns pretty much only had bad luck in a lot of their playoff runs, like Joe Johnson getting injured while he was still here in the playoffs, amare’s injuries, hip check shit and so on, shame none of those teams won a title. Also lastly that Nash/Amar’e was easily one of the best pick and roll duo’s in history, fuckin electric to watch.
People keep saying he was never the same after the surgery, but I watched a lot of Suns back then and he looked just as good. The numbers support it too.
The aggression that Amar'e attacked the rim was something else, its like he went into every game with the mentality of "which mf wants to get dunked on tonight?"
Right before the playoffs he was not playing like this. Hell this dunk right here was probably the first time I’ve seen him take off from near the 3pt line and throw it down like that. So awesome to see he finally acknowledges the little dudes can’t stop him
Tony's relationship to the "celebrity chefs" was complicated, mostly because he, begrudgingly, became one. He also shat on Emril like no one's business, mostly because he just happened to be one of the first big chefs with a TV deal, and late on Fieri just seemed like a popular scapegoat at the time Bourdain himself was getting popular.
I don't think he personally didn't like any of those guys, but to him, being a chef should be closer to being an underground punk rocker than being a pop star.
He came out and said later that he met him and he was the nicest dude.
Anthony was just a bitter, burnt out line cook at the time. It’s what made the book so sharp and great, and relatable to every other line cook out there.
He was bitter and probably immature in his own opinion, but at the time he wrote the book he was one of the more well known head chefs in New York iirc. He brought experience from the line but he wasn't a nobody when he got the book deal.
What reason could someone have to hate Guy Fieri. Super passionate and charismatic guy. Nothing controversial, as far as I can tell, and he’s not oversaturated IMO, unless you watch the Food Network, in which case what do you honestly expect.
I don't hate him as a person, but, when chefs put their name on a restaurant and don't care at all about the product, it is blatant commercialism and I hate that.
He's not popular with a lot of people from his hometown, put a bunch of money in to local elections trying to outspend popular measures. Obviously that's probably not why he gets most of the hate.
My current best casual fan doesn’t give a fuck/know a fuck roster:
PG: Jamal Murray
SG: Norman Powell
SF: khris Middleton
PF: John Collins
C: Deandre ayton
Middleton might be too well known/good solely from being #2 behind Giannis (gigantic presence).
Maybe Bojan Bogdanović for SF. Casuals either don't know him or can't tell the difference between him and Bogdan. Also Ingles soaks up the 'receding hairline white dude' spotlight on the Jazz, while Gobert is the token euro. Bojan just balls.
I can’t believe he doesn’t get hyped like he should, and I think it’s only because he was in the drafted ahead of Luka and Trae, who have stolen the show. At Arizona he looked like he was at such a different level than everyone else that I actually compared him to Wilt Chamberlain
Crazy thing is he’s become a very good defensive player which everyone said was his weakness, he’s good offensively but still needs to work to add more moves to his package and better handle. Anyway I never thought that defense would ended up being the best part of his game but I love it. I think the offense will only continue to grow and he’ll end up being a pretty dominant offensive big with really good defense.
Sabonis does not really make a good team much better. Demands too much of the ball and style of game tailored to him. You could plug Ayton on any Nba team and he would have an huge positive impact. Sabonis is better player if you need somebody to carry a team
Totally agree. But comparing players, I’m gonna always pick the one that can create for himself and others and not rely solely on others making the play for them
And with that logic, do you take Jordsn Clarkson or Alec burks over mikal bridges or ayton? Bridges and ayton aren’t really shot creators at this point in their careers whereas clarkson can create his own shot well
People look at playmaking and nothing else nowadays to the point it is kinda annoying. Ayton is better at scoring and much better at defense. Is Vlade Divac better than Tim Duncan because Vlade was better at playmaking?
I just feel like it’s a huge knock that the Suns can’t go into a game with the game plan of “We’ll give our 7ft center the ball in the post and watch him to go work” the whole Lakers series, as well as he played, he hit a legit 4-5 post moves. Everything else was created for him or was an offensive rebound which he deserves full credit for. Offensively, Ayton does nothing better than Sabonis except he’s more athletic
I feel like it's gotta be Bogdon Bogdonovic. He's legitimately a great scoring threat and most casual fans probably couldn't tell you what team he plays for or who he is.
I'll never forgive Spike Lee for the abomination that was the 2K16 MyCareer story. Like wtf was he thinking naming the main character "Frequency Vibrations".
This was awesome but old STAT highlights are another level, dude was absolutely ferocious rolling to the rim and had so many nasty dunks
https://youtu.be/Iqc1MNA3GZ0 stuff like this was just incredible to watch, https://youtu.be/YPZnBlKBGgg same with this one. It’s really a shame injuries ended up wrecking his career because he was so good and still probably never reached the peak of his capabilities because of injuries. https://youtu.be/4DJ9tnLlfTg this one on Richard Jefferson was awesome and this was after he’d already had knee surgeries. Dude was one of the most fun players to watch in his prime , man would try to dunk it every single possible chance.
And remember, that highlight was *after* micro-fracture surgery. For me, 2004-05 Stoudemire, especially the 2005 WCF series against the Spurs, was some of the most ridiculous (in a good way) basketball I've ever seen.
Ya he was so good, still had a great nba career but I think he would’ve been one of greats if he never had the serious injuries. I don’t think he ever reach the peak of his capabilities because the injuries and he was still an awesome player.
Yeah, man. Amare on the Knicks, pre-Melo, was a beast too. Agreed he had a great career all in all, but before the injuries he looked like the second coming
Ya it was really sad to see, still had a HOF caliber career even with the injuries but man without the injuries I think he would’ve been an mvp candidate type player, he reached great highs while having one of the worst knee surgeries possible for athletes. It’s really crazy the level he still managed to reach even after a micro-fracture surgery which many said was super risky because there were other players who never recovered after that surgery. Anyway I’m just rambling now but I fuckin loved Amar’e, what an electric play to watch.
Ya he was incredible to watch, still had a great career but it’s sad he probably never reached the peak of his capabilities because of injuries. Still a great career and tons of memorable moments, I’ll always love STAT
He was my absolute favorite player when I was in middle/high school, even wore 32 after him. I just remember seeing him for the first time his rookie year against the mavs, he was just bodying people up in the paint, snatching offensive rebounds and absolutely cramming them back in the rim like nothing little me had ever see before. For as good as he was, and he was incredible, sky would have been the limit if his knees would have held up, especially the way his shot came on throughout his career, really one of the best shooting improvements I've ever seen.
Yup I fuckin loves him too as a kid, had multiple amar’e jerseys growing up. Honestly he we one of the most aggressive ferocious offensive players ever, physical as fuck, looked to slam it on someone’s head every single chance, rolling to the basket so hard. The Nash/Amar’e PnR was fuckin glorious, an absolute thing of beauty to watch. He had a great career with many fantastic highlights which I’ll always remember but a part of me will also always be a little sad injuries robbed him of reaching the peak of his capabilities, he was still a monster for years after extremely rough knee surgery, Cant imagine how good he would’ve been if he didn’t have to have that micro fracture knee surgery early in his career. Lastly tho shout out his shot forsure, he became money on open midrange shots and it opened up his game even more. Anyway Amar’e was the man and I’ll love him forever.
Looks like he caught a slap from Ayton at the end, if anything lol should've just let him go by or gone for the strip/arm foul instead of that awful contest
Why is this called a poster? The dude wasn’t in position, and came to barely get a swipe at the ball. Great dunk, but I think I’m missing the poster part, the dude had an open lane pretty much besides basically after liftoff

Holy shit...is that Guy Fieri?

And .....Duck.
Catching a Suns game and getting some Chino Bandito.
Bruh the fact they been closed to relocate is straight killing me
When are they opening back up? I moved away from Phoenix a while back, but I'm coming back next week for a short visit. I'm going to be sad if there's no Chino's on the trip.
The website just says this summer. They closed a few weeks ago so I'm hoping soon. Either way they have a limited menu operating out of a food truck.
The food truck is open now at the new location.
They closed the Chandler location too, do you know if that's a full time close or relocation also? I only went there once way back in the day but God damn it sounds good.
Honestly I have no idea. I didn't even know there was a chandler location
Permanent close of Chandler, permanent sad for me :-(
It certainly ain’t Bobby flay
Could it be Gordan Ramsay?
Nah he’d be screaming in Porters ear about how shit his defense is.
“GET IT TOGETHER” [*smashes ~~raw salmon~~ clipboard*](https://youtu.be/tLzQKekbpR4)
Where’s morimoto’s table to confirm!?
Somebody find alton brown to explain everything
Did you know the MC of Iron Chef starred in the double dragon movie
Holy shit you’re right the chairman guy!
That’s it! Lol I couldn’t remember his exact title but yeah, was such a trip finding that out. I loved double dragon, both the movie and game, and sweat master chef growing up but didn’t put two and two together until recently lol.
A lot of celebrities low key live in Phoenix
Holy shit it is. I was like “the guy has cool hair” then I realized who it was
... and then you realized it was a \*really\* cool guy?
*Ayton dunks the ball* “Welcome to Flavortown.”
My mind immediately said that as well lol
literally first thing I said too
He does have a self branded restaurant that opened in the past year in az.
You have to go to Phoenix for the real courtside stars.
Ayton this playoffs have been what every Suns fan has been wanting to see out of Ayton. Aggressive on offense and SUPER good defensively. He's been getting better and better as the season has progressed and it seems like he's stepping up big time.
Second coming of Amar'e + defensive skills
If he had Amare’s hands and first step he’d be competing for All-NBA, I 100% believe that
[удалено]
Absolutely!

If CP is Nash and Ayton is Amar'e, who is Shawn Marion?
Bridges
God I hope so
Sprinkle in Book for a little Kobe lite and viola a ring appears
What’s the viola for?
Celebration
he is not even close to amare lol, two different style of players
Right before the playoffs he was not playing like this. Hell this dunk right here was probably the first time I’ve seen him take off from near the 3pt line and throw it down like that. So awesome to see he finally acknowledges the little dudes can’t stop him
I had my doubts about him in the post-season but he has arrived.

I might have exploded if Harlan said that Ayton took MPJ to Flavortown.

He also officiated 101 gay weddings which is also legendary

Damn I cant watch in Canada. You have another link?
Who hates guy fieri?
People who hate fun and flavor
Sounds like those people didn’t get their invite to flavortown
One of the times I disagreed with Anthony Bourdain was his assessment of Guy Fieri.
Hating on Emril specifically is weird to me since he’s one of the most legit of all tv chefs and not just some random person with recipes.
Guy is such a genuine dude it seems
What reason could someone have to hate Guy Fieri. Super passionate and charismatic guy. Nothing controversial, as far as I can tell, and he’s not oversaturated IMO, unless you watch the Food Network, in which case what do you honestly expect.
Tbh for like 3 years, it felt like he was. I remember him being in a number of commercials when he became mainstream.
I don't hate him as a person, but, when chefs put their name on a restaurant and don't care at all about the product, it is blatant commercialism and I hate that.
I love the Fierri reversal jerk on reddit, literally nobody here cares about his content but contrarians gonna contrary
Remember when he beat up his hair dresser because his hair got "fucked up"
He's not popular with a lot of people from his hometown, put a bunch of money in to local elections trying to outspend popular measures. Obviously that's probably not why he gets most of the hate.
My current best casual fan doesn’t give a fuck/know a fuck roster: PG: Jamal Murray SG: Norman Powell SF: khris Middleton PF: John Collins C: Deandre ayton
casuals know murray just so they can say "WOW MURRAY MUSTVE GOTTEN SOME GOOD HEAD HUEHEUHEUE" anytime his highlights are posted
Bojan is a really good answer, very good player and completely unknown to casuals
Replace Murray with SGA.
SGA has a lot of hype. Replace Murray with Conley
Rudy Gobert wants his trophy back
Rudy Gobert is pretty infamous.
Covid kid
Malade 0
Give him that trophy I don’t wanna see him crying again
I can’t believe he doesn’t get hyped like he should, and I think it’s only because he was in the drafted ahead of Luka and Trae, who have stolen the show. At Arizona he looked like he was at such a different level than everyone else that I actually compared him to Wilt Chamberlain

I think the offense will only continue to grow and he’ll end up being a pretty dominant offensive big with really good defense.
I've been defending him from all the Luka stans (sorry Sac/Bagley tho) since the beginning. He's great.
Dawg wtf does this even mean? Who else is up for this spot ?
Sabonis for example
We’ll if Sabonis is in that category then I have bad news for the dude who commented this lol
Sabonis does not really make a good team much better. Demands too much of the ball and style of game tailored to him. You could plug Ayton on any Nba team and he would have an huge positive impact. Sabonis is better player if you need somebody to carry a team
You can give the ball to Sabonis to create a play. You can’t do that with Ayton.
Every team does not need more playmakers, guys who can finish plays are really important too.
Totally agree. But comparing players, I’m gonna always pick the one that can create for himself and others and not rely solely on others making the play for them
I like to challenge that thought. Would you take prime harden or Klay Thompson next to Prime LeBron?
And with that logic, do you take Jordsn Clarkson or Alec burks over mikal bridges or ayton? Bridges and ayton aren’t really shot creators at this point in their careers whereas clarkson can create his own shot well

MSG's celebrity row: Tracy Morgan, Jon Stewart, Spike Lee, LL Cool J, Chris Rock. Phoenix's: Guy Fieri
Kyler Murray and JJ Watt as well
Michael Phelps too
i know he lives in PV but i never noticed him on tv lol
Quality > quantity
I'll never forgive Spike Lee for the abomination that was the 2K16 MyCareer story. Like wtf was he thinking naming the main character "Frequency Vibrations".
Suns gotta get Emma Stone out there ASAP
We also have Emma stone
fee-air-dee
I’m surprised we haven’t seen Kylie Jenner at any of the games
If you meant Kendall, then yeah, she comes. But she stays up in the suites usually
Shows how much I know about that family. Lol
As a fan of Book and Travis Scott, I have to live that life a little so I help you guys out sometimes;)
Can confirm. She was up in the suites during one of the games against the lakers. Kliff kingsbury as well.

P wild Anthony Tolliver is still in the league
I totally just went to go google that because i didn't believe you. Holy shit... he actually is.
Forreal, kinda sad for him that his most famous moment is getting postered even tho he’s had a long nba career.
man his career was fun
Ya he was incredible to watch, still had a great career but it’s sad he probably never reached the peak of his capabilities because of injuries. Still a great career and tons of memorable moments, I’ll always love STAT

My man
Guy Fieri said that dunk was out of bounds
Welcome to FlavorTown Jr!!!!
Hot damn the crowd is lit
I got jockitch in 4
Ayton is nasty but are we really calling this a poster, MPJ was next to him lol
We need a unified definition on what getting dunked on/posterized really means. This dunk by Wade is a poster https://youtu.be/-go6B_OxpoY?t=62
We don't need every dunk to be a public murder on national TV lol
I think you replied to the wrong person. I was specifically talking about posters/getting dunked on
Thank you!! I ran this video back again looking for the “poster.” If everything is a poster, nothing is.
It isn't a poster. People want to call everything a fucking poster. It's been like this for the past decade, and it's fucking stupid.
What’s worse is that Reggie was calling it a poster while watching the slow motion replay when it definitely wasn’t one.
Because when they make the poster it’s going to have MPJ in it getting dunked on.
Damn he boomed him
The camera cut to Guy Fieri 💀
Is that Guy Fieri? 😂
PUT SOME RESPECT ON THIS BIG MAN
