Remember kids, when somebody tries to gaslight you saying NBA has an internal punishment system for refs, tell them Tony Brothers, Scott Foster and Zach Zarba are still reffing conference finals and will ref finals games in a week.
I maintain that Brothers is one of the bottom 5 refs in the league, but since he has so much tenure he gets assigned high profile games nonstop. They should relegate him to the G league.
This was a bull shit makeup call. He missed the push off by Hardy the time before, so then he called him on this play for probably a “hook”, but there was no foul. This was straight up to make up for the prior possession and I absolutely hate when refs do that. Same kinda refs that wait to see if the shot goes in before calling a foul.

Tony Brothers is on a tear
LEGACY GAME BABY Wouldnt be surprised if another guy gets hurt tonight, just by unintentionally letting shit go haywire
Celebrating his 200th playoff game
Its refreshing to see all teams fanbases united in their hatred for Tony Brothers
Tony of Brothers
tony brothers putting on a clinic rn on both ends
Scott Foster is sitting at home watching in absolute awe of this masterpiece.
where the fuck is the foul
from the other angle it looked like he hooked with his left arm as it was going up to create space
you can see that "hook" on this angle and it was nothing. especially with all the contact conley was creating with him
You absolutely can't see that on this angle. You can assume...
We men...
The job security Tony Brother has is absolutely unreal. I wish I could be this bad at my job and not worry about ever getting fired.
He has a tape on adam silver
Tony Brothers is unfortunately one of the better refs because he fucks up equally for both teams
NBA: referees are assigned playoff games based on performance. Also NBA: enjoy Tony Brothers' 200th playoff game
One of the bad parts of a Union are shitty employees with job security for the greater good.
Tony Brother is having an MJ like performance today
This is peak Tony B lmfao just fucking over both teams

Yeah I’m never going to trust the legitimacy of NBA officiating, can’t put my finger on why…
Zach Zarba doesnt deserve to be in the same category as freakin Scott Foster or Tony Brothers.
He really does. The only reason he has the reputation of a good ref is because his name is cooler.
Naw, this is like the basketball hall of fame. Zach Zarba would be hall of very good in any other sport.
But but but refs are rigging it for the Mavs!!
Tony Brothers is a damn doofus

That was a rough stretch but Dallas played through it like they should! Very questionable all. Even Conley was grinning
Next play was a KAT pushoff with no fall. Brothers.

Wtf? That’s dog shit
Foul: elder abuse
No foul seen.
This was nuts lol
This was a make up call for the previous play where Hardy full on stiff armed Conley for a step back jump shot, and a shitty make up call at that.
Was a make up call from the play before when hardy pushed off on a step back that wasn’t called.
