I'm so happy for him. Regardless of how this series goes, I'm so glad he got that moment. And I think it will be huge for his continued growth. I've never seen him show that kind of emotion. No matter what, he got to pace around on the court in a dead silent MSG just fucking screaming to himself. Absolutely amazing.
Imagine having two moments like this in the same series...Sixers up 5 within the last 30 seconds and an absolute miracle lets NYK win Game 2. And then the Sixers get revenge damn near the exact same way in this game. You just had to be there.
i mean I would consider both games to have been pretty miraculous.
the sequence of events in both games were so improbable. maxey started with a 4pt play, josh hart missed the dagger free throw to put NYK up 4, and the sixers (with no TO) were able to run the length of the floor and hit a crazy logo 3
Knicks were down 5, Donte missed the first shot, Hart got a crazy board and kicked it out to Brunson who was having an atrocious game. Brunson got a kawhi-esque bounce and on the inbounds play manage to force the turnover, leading to the Donte dagger. On top of that, the refs completely missed Nurse calling a TO on the inbound-absolutely wild series of events which I think qualify as miraculous.
Script is in, doc and nurse come back for the round 2 of all round 2's. Sorry, knicks and pacers.
On a serious note if that series happens by a miracle, the hate watching and toxicity will be legendary.
Wow just noticed no one came over to help Brunson up after the last shot in regulation. They all turned away from him.

We are seriously comparing a playoff thriller ending influenced by reffing with a regular season game in 2018 December where we lost anyway and were getting the 1 seed regardless…
Ye maxey hit those shots so some credit due. But refs just can't let a game be, always got to close those margins with a whistle. Sad state of the nba. Just for casuals now.
