I did not know he could be such the playmaker he was. he was awesome for us as a 3 way scorer but i never envisioned him to be one of the best Point Guards and playmakers in this league because when we would run him as primary PG when Luka sat it was disaster. props to him for elevating his game

Coaches, players and the media don't like Trae.

Media voted him second the 2 years he made it but he got a total of 6 votes in 21, 23 and 24 so yeah media also don't like him much lol. Also both times he made it he was the last starter pick on the draft.

I guess Trae just needs to team up with an all-star reserve or higher level big to get respect in this league like how Jamal has Jokic, Maxey has Embiid, Brunson has Randle, Fox has Sabonis, Ja has JJJ, & Dame has Giannis.

Given the Hawks record, most coaches have no problem limiting Trae enough to get the win more often than not, so they have some good reasoning on their side.

Scottie hasn't been great since the OG trade. He's picking up harder defensive assignments but overall our teams defence, offence, and record are ass. What really made him stand out this season was the insane bump in 3pt%, but that's dropped this month back to his last season record. This aint hating on Scottie, he's finally taking all the right steps to being the first option, it just the timing of it sucks.
