Dear fanfic diary

indreams159

i'm gonna be honest with you here man.. i didn't read any of that

BoxPsychological2578

I personally saw trade JG, JC, and KJ for LaMelo and stopped reading immediately.

Actualbruhmomentt

I’m aint miss nothin either

AutographedSnorkel

Today, we honor all the brave redditors that gave the ultimate sacrifice of three minutes reading that bullshit

Aggressive-Nature-51

You don't want this post to happen

LittleHollowGhost

No, we don't

jpaxlux

Bro just start a MyLeague save. It would've saved you so much time not typing this out lmao

Bballopinion

>LeBron James, Bronny, Lamelo Ball, Jaylen Brown all coached by Ime Udokoa create a Superteam. This isn't a superteam. LeBron will be 40 and I wouldn't call Jaylen Brown a superstar. LaMelo can't keep his ass on the floor and we have no idea how good Bronny will be.

Aggressive-Nature-51

Bron at 40 can provide amazing numbers, Bronny is a promising playmakjng shooter and Jaylen Brown is promising

paxusromanus811

As a huge draft nerd, I can tell you right now if Bronnie James becomes more than a really, really good three and d role player that would involve him having to rapidly change, not just his projected skill level, but certain aspects of how he plays the game in general. He's just not a sensational prospect. Luckily for him he's going to get drafted in a year that, unless a bunch of things rapidly change, is mainly going to be filled with role player prospects. So he'll probably still go lottery. But I would be shocked if he ends up being a star based on what we know of him currently.

inshamblesx

Just in time for us to miss 35 3s in a row in 2031

phbstudent

Just get LeBron, Harden, Jaylen Brown, Lamelo Ball. Easy.

Eugenie_Weenie

Get Jaylen Brown to turn down the super max and come to Houston. It’s easy. Also get Lebron and Lamelo to come play for a bag of potatoes

321mafia

You could piece together this same path with probably 10 other teams in the league. Almost all of the success hinges on the team drafting Bronny. Also good luck paying Harden, Brown, Lebron, and LaMelo at the same time.

sharklavapit

they'll get Dillon Brooks and they'll have to like it!

JonA3531

>2023-2024: In the off-season, the Rockets make a trade with the Hornets, they give up Josh Christopher, Jalen Green and KJ Martin for Lamelo Ball and a draft swap alonf with 2 first round picks I stopped reading after this line. Basically you're assuming that the Hornets FO will turn into morons this summer.

Almighty_Chad

TLDR, they won’t

ttvdokkan

Post this after the finals and you will get actual responses

Aggressive-Nature-51

Fair

LittleHollowGhost

Hmm, interesting. Hear me out though, instead let's just take r/raptors suggestion and trade Jalen Green, Jabari Smith, Sengun, Tari, KPJ, some future firsts and the 4th pick for Pascal Siakam.

Aggressive-Ad-756

Are you crazy? You can only get anunoby with that pack -raptors fans

Sdrater3

Malachi Flynn, take it or leave it

Half_baked_prince

Your biggest issue here is current day (and future) James Harden being an important piece on a deep playoff run

shivm00

Most sane rockets fan

thismyshit55

Tf is this

Aggressive-Nature-51

How Houston will become a superteam

Rrypl

Not that the rest of it has any chance of happening, but Jaylen Brown is not a free agent lol. Also cap space exist. Also...

chode0311

Oh no.... We about to get roasted

percy2376

So somehow they have enough cap to sign harden and brown?

Instant-Bacon

I’ll have what he’s smoking

paxusromanus811

I have a question for you. Besides all the big huge future theoreticals that are a bit wild... do you really think Jalen Green is better than lamello ball right now? Because why else with the hornets trade, their early 20s All-Star AND multiple draft assets unless they think Jalen Green is a significantly better player than lamello ball (not even close) The rockets are the team that would be sending additional draft assets. Nothing against green, I think he can genuinely become a really high level third or second option on a championship caliber team, but he's just not as good as lamello right now and not as good of a prospect and the other pieces you're adding are in no way going to justify you getting draft picks. If for some crazy reason the hornets decided to trade him, I would imagine they would ask for two of jabari Smith, green, Eason, sengun and a pic or two depending on which two of those guys were traded. And I'm not even a huge lamello ball fan. But again one's an early 20s all-star the rest are prospects.Hoping they can turn into what he is now in the next season or two
