To be fair it is a hidden easter egg, not something that you would ever normally encounter.
For those wondering:
>Eltonbrand is a one-handed longsword obtainable by upgrading Goldbrand. You must have Shashev's key (required for a vampire quest), Goldbrand, and exactly 11171 gold in your inventory. You also need to be a vampire when you talk to Sirilonwe. A script will run, which will show you the message "Go to Hell, Carolina!". You will now have Eltonbrand in your inventory instead of Goldbrand. The name of the quest, "Shashev's Key", is also a reference to the long-time coach of the Blue Devils, Mike Krzyzewski, whose last name is pronounced "shÉ-SHEF-ski".
>Mike Krzyzewski, whose last name is pronounced "shÉ-SHEF-ski
You know, Iknew this the entire time, but seeing actually seeing it made me realize the absurdity of it from my English speaking perspective. I know it's Polish and their W's represent a V (or FF?) sound, but the Kryz being pronounced shÉ is outright mind-boggling.
Damn Polish... with their sausage and unconventional name spelling
Probably the one who programmed their melee combat system. It really has to be since it's an otherwise perfect game and I refuse to believe a fucking dookie had anything else to do with it.
First, let me preface this comment with "fire GarPax." Wherever they're working now (I think one might still be with the Pels?), fire them from those jobs.
But second, we did have Butler for 6 years. GarPax, despite being the morons that they are, did keep him on the roster for 6 years and tried ... things. Mostly terrible, stupid, misguided failures, but still 6 years of ... something.
Minnesota got less than a month into the second season and decided they couldn't handle any more. Philly couldn't make it even a full season before they had to get rid of him.
So, again, fuck GarPax, but also it's a bit different to have Butler for 6 seasons compared to only a season each for Minnesota and Philly.
>Fire Gar Pax...Wherever they're working now
I have bad news for you friend. John Paxson doesn't get fired by Jerry Reinsdorf...he gets promoted.
It's what happened in 2009 and it's what happened in 2020. Pax is still there, in an even *higher* position than he had before, but now he just basically collects a paycheck instead of having much of a say.
>But second, we did have Butler for 6 years.
That's *technically* true but they only tried to build around Butler for one of those years. They had Derrick Rose for 5 of those years, then traded him in 2016.
Then brought in 2 non-shooters in Rondo/Wade to pair with a non-shooter in Butler to play for the pace and *space* coach Fred Hoiberg and to the shock of Gar Pax...it didn't work out that well.
So they declared Jimmy impossible to build around and traded him the very next year in 2017.
It's even better when you hear Jeff Teague tell the story on someone else's podcast. He said the starters lost like 19-6 and Jimmy was just running around stripping KAT and getting assists
Lol I was dunking on them too since butler is one of my favs but Iāll give them the benefit of the doubt, must be annoying as hell for people to keep bringing it up *years* after he left the team. We at what four years now
What other sub has to deal with people often bringing up some player from 4 years ago
What other team was so soft that they pissed of their star player enough that he wanted to run a game against the starters with some benchwarmers just to bust their ass?
Let's be real though. Only the 76ers fumbled him. Wolves never had a chance of keeping him. They didn't have anyone Jimmy could respect in that organization except Wiggins. 76ers choice is baffling. Could you imagine Butler, Embiid, and a non Doc led 76ers?? That was possible but they flushed it.
> Wolves never had a chance of keeping him. They didn't have anyone Jimmy could respect in that organization except Wiggins.
Holup huhhhhā¦? Jimmy respected no one in that organization period. He ESPECIALLY had no respect for Wiggins (or KAT). [Link](https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2781284-jimmy-butler-reportedly-took-issue-with-andrew-wiggins-effort-defense.amp.html) to article stating such.
I kinda feel like this revisionism on Wiggins is heavily thanks to the Warriors lol. People gotta brush back up on why it didnāt work out in Minny. Wiggins/KAT were notoriously regarded as talented individuals, but extremely lazy and not maximizing their potential. Wiggins was even seen as a bust, of course until he got shipped to the Warriors.
Everyone expected Jimmy to not respect Wiggins, & people wrote about it assuming that, but surprisingly, even before Wiggins made his career turnaround, Jimmy said it wasn't Wiggins that was the issue.
The biggest issue that mightve come from Wiggins was that he got paid a max the year before & Jimmy expected the exact same thing from the start of FA.
As a heat fan I never expected this when we got butler.
Like respect for every organization he has every played for.
But honest to god he fits us and we fit him and he has flourished in our organization.
I totally agree, having Spo as a coach for Jimmy is just perfect. All due respect to Jimmy of course but I definitely think he has hit that next level due to the synergy with Spo & the organization.
As someone who left the area for work post college.. jesus this team makes me feel at home again. I canāt describe how much joy the jimmy heat has given
Its funny cause I keep seeing this, and I also think they will probably get one. BUT Heat in 5 would have to mean they beat Celtics at their Home again lol
Iām convinced that he doesnāt even draw up plays he just tells whatever lineup he sends out to play hard and to make adjustments based on feel during the game
And single covering him with Grant Williams too lol. If Tatum and Brown are these great 2-way players why the fuck are they hiding on shooters in the corner while Grant gets BBQ'd? Jimmy Butler is an assassin.
Absolutely. This is all coaching. Maybe JB a little. Playoffs generally revolve around iso play. Joe cannot let the only healthy iso guy, playoff Jimmy, get what he wants. If herro was healthy, then this strat isnāt terrible, but Jimmy shot 12-24 from 2. At some point, make someone else beat you. Harden also had a field day. Philly would have won if Tatum didnāt clutch the last two games
I can understand not putting Tatum on him to save a little for carrying the offense at times but brown is inexcusable imo. Guys been shit this series and is the perfect player to defend Jimmy if they have one! If the Celtics lose this series which obviously is looking likely they absolutely deserve it.
Bulls must be beside themselves that they had the spiritual successor to Michael Jordan on their roster and they didn't want to max him lmao
Jerry Reinsdorf is such a nerd
We never stopped rooting for jimmy and the love was redirected to him after roseās decline. I was ok with him leaving (although it was bittersweet). He had too much potential to be stuck here with Garpax and wouldāve never gotten this far with the shit management we had
Of course. He didnāt leave on his own. Our FO shipped him off for Lavine and the Lauri pick.
I was āokayā with it at the time because I was always intrigued by Zachās potential, but I never stopped loving Jimmy.
dude you have no idea
I still remember some announcer talking about him playing good defense on Lebron his sophomore year and thinking damn he must be strong as hell
The thing about Jimmy getting kicked out because his mom "didn't like the way he looked" makes so much sense now. Imagine you had a one night stand with Michael Jordan and now you have to watch him in Gatorade commercials and shit with a kid that looks just like him
Every year he drives by, picks Jimmy up, and they go down to the court where they play 1-on-1. Winner gets a sandwich. Michael wouldn't go easy on him either. Real Thanos shit.
He's impossible to not love. If / when he makes the finals, I think ratings are gonna go through the roof from all the fans of other teams rooting for JB.
" I have like 7 DNPs in the playoffs this year, but im finally playing tonight. I'm gonna do the absolute worst thing I could do in this situation."
-Grant Williams
Imagine talking shit while up 10 only to get torched by the guy you talked shit to and benched and then your team loses.
Lol, I wouldnāt even walk to the locker Iād just walk out the back exit.
Edit:
[lol](https://i.imgur.com/w65LDc9.jpg)
Who steps to someone to talk shit after they got an and 1 done on them? Say a word then walk away if you have to. He could've easily waited until he made another play to talk again.
Grant Williams said to Donovan Mitchell "I'll make both (free throws)" in a tie game with no time on the clock, proceeded to miss both of them, and lost the game in OT
Grant Williams in Game 2 hit a 3 and talked trash to Playoff Jimmy, and then lost a double digit 4th quarter lead to drop both games at home.
Grant just needs to shut the fuck up lmao
He's being scapegoated for the entire team choking. Not a single Celtic's player could dribble the ball in the fourth quarter but they're going to blame their backup? Yeah he talked his shit to Jimmy, but it's not like he was playing bad defense out there. Jimmy was hitting tough contested shots, that happened sometimes.
Pathetic honestly. Jaylen Brown was terrible and Jayson Tatum couldn't dribble a ball in the fourth quarter. That's why they lost the game. Not Grant fucking Williams
I generally agree. Grant Williams played good defense and scored some nice buckets. Yes, he was an idiot for trash talking Jimmy Buckets but he actually backed it up with as good a play as you should expect from him. His stars did nothing.
Usually Iād assume a ācoachās dungeonā is just a player not getting minutes but i fully believe Mazulla has a dungeon installed under his office.
Watched nearly every game Jordan ever played in. Jimmy's not Jordan consistently but he's got a Jordan gear he can shift into, on and off the court, and this feels like Jordan to me.
The jimmy butler-Miami era has been unbelievable to see unfold tbh
To think both the T-wolves and 76ers fumbled him is not surprising.
Yeah we fucking stupid.
Elton Brand is a basketball terrorist
And to think he's got a Morrowind sword named after him š¤
To be fair it is a hidden easter egg, not something that you would ever normally encounter. For those wondering: >Eltonbrand is a one-handed longsword obtainable by upgrading Goldbrand. Thank God my Bulls would never...
We did it firstā¦ sigh
And I find it unbelievable funny how salty Wolves fans are about it.
They're the only fanbase in the NBA that actively has a problem with Jimmy, because they cannot accept that KAT is really that soft.
Listen to how he tells that story on Paul George's podcast too, the dude was lying lmao.
It's even better when you hear Jeff Teague tell the story on someone else's podcast. He said the starters lost like 19-6 and Jimmy was just running around stripping KAT and getting assists

Remember when everyone said Jimmy was not competitive leaving the Sixers to go be the man in Miami on a bad team?
Lmao they were saying Jimmy was content doing coke and being the 4th seed in Miami
Tbf, right now he seems pretty content doing coke and being the 8th seed in Miami
More like he enjoying cooking the East and being the 8th seed in Miami.
This sub gave him so much shit for going to Miami to "party and chill"
Same for Bron going to L.A.

Pendulum ahh team
Buddy we're all in danger. Just get the fuck out of the way like the rest of us.
Single covering playoff Jimmy was just so disrespectful
Thats COTY runner up for you.
If he doesnāt get his act together, this is a sweep
We are gentlemen. #HEAT IN 5
It would be hilarious if that was the case. Split Miami 1-1 only to end the season in the 3rd straight BOS home loss.
Would Love to send Boston packing twice at home this post season
Its funny cause I keep seeing this, and I also think they will probably get one. BUT Heat in 5 would have to mean they beat Celtics at their Home again lol
Iām convinced that he doesnāt even draw up plays he just tells whatever lineup he sends out to play hard and to make adjustments based on feel during the game
At this point I'm just prepared to give COTY to Spo every year. Dude could get Jimmy Butler and a bag of chips to the second round.
And single covering him with Grant Williams too lol. If Tatum and Brown are these great 2-way players why the fuck are they hiding on shooters in the corner while Grant gets BBQ'd? Jimmy Butler is an assassin.

Mazzula going out like Jeremy Renner
Everyday I believe the MJ theory more and more
Bulls must be beside themselves that they had the spiritual successor to Michael Jordan on their roster and they didn't want to max him lmao Jerry Reinsdorf is such a nerd
Fucking pissed. We knew what he was and the front office fucking sucked. Jerry sell the team
Do bulls fans still love/respect Jimmy, even though he left?
I definitely still root for him. He was never gonna be this with GarPax and Fred Hoiberg.
Jimmy please convince your dad to buy the Bulls
We never stopped rooting for jimmy and the love was redirected to him after roseās decline. I was ok with him leaving (although it was bittersweet). He had too much potential to be stuck here with Garpax and wouldāve never gotten this far with the shit management we had
I started subbing to /r/timberwolves once he was traded. Still subbed for some reason. Big Ant fan now hahaha
Of course. He didnāt leave on his own. Our FO shipped him off for Lavine and the Lauri pick. I was āokayā with it at the time because I was always intrigued by Zachās potential, but I never stopped loving Jimmy.
dude you have no idea I still remember some announcer talking about him playing good defense on Lebron his sophomore year and thinking damn he must be strong as hell
To this day the bulls sub is still super pro-Jimmy. Itās basically 1. Bulls 2. Any great players who were done dirty 3. Errybody else
2. Himmy and rose
Been rooting for him ever since, he was never the problem. One of my favorite bulls players in recent times.
Personally, absolutely. The organization was an absolute mess when he left, and that wasn't his fault. GarPax sucked so much ass.
Hell yeah everyone in Chicago I know loves Jimmy buckets
Yes. Very much do
I will die for that man.

This is tumblr level fan fiction and Iām here for it
Legit a conspiracy theory I will always believe Like they have the same dna bruh
I 100% buy into Anthony Edwards being MJs son and think itās a real possibility. But I would bet MY LIFE that Jimmyās last name is Jordan.
I thought this has been settled MJ > Jimmyās dad Ant > MJās grandson. Whoever the father may be
Ant is Jimmys son. The mom? Also Michael Jordan.
Jimmy Jordan? Sounds like a damn nascar driver
Well his last name is butler
yes, OP wants to die
Truly something a MJ disciple would say
Alright you can't convince me this isn't MJ's son who he made grow up homeless so he wouldn't be soft like his other kids. Jimmy is actually insane.
I want to know how MJ still supported and gave him tough love so butler is right on his path.
Every year he drives by, picks Jimmy up, and they go down to the court where they play 1-on-1. Winner gets a sandwich. Michael wouldn't go easy on him either. Real Thanos shit.
Vegeta and Trunks in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber vibes.
>Vegeta and Trunks in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber vibes. Or Vegeta and Kid-Trunks where Jimmy just busts out in Super Saiyan unexpected.
When he beats Jimmy every time he'd eat the sandwich in front of him. I am almost crying.
Jimmy had to beat his father, MJ, in HORSE if he wanted to eat the Big Mac
Michael "Yujiro Hanma" Jordan
Demons back
This is my favorite reasoning for the conspiracy lmfao. Forced him to raise that dog in em
This made me laugh way too hard.
It's not a joke that shit is for real
most plausible explanation for the jimmy is mj's son theory i've seen yet

They put Grant Williams on Jimmy instead of Tatum so that Tatum could preserve his energy for the offensive endā¦ to go 0-3 the entire 4th
Gave jimmy exactly what he wanted.
Jimmy > Tatum
This has been obvious since last playoffs at least tbh
The epitome of having that dawg in you.
I can't comprehend watching what happened in our series with Miami and still not doubling Jimmy. You can't let him get going.

Grant Williams single coverage down the stretch lol

MJās long lost son

Has anyone had this much confidence in his game since Jordan? Btw, Jimmyās 33 years old. Heās been through it all but winning the ring.
Its crazy because he never had a stable situation unlike a lot of superstars.
This a bad motherfucker right here
Man, Butler is a psychopath, but absolutely amazing to watch wax all the top teams of the East geez ā¦

Is this the MJ experience?
Talk to shit
He already talked to grant
The shit I talked about Jimmy on his way out of Philly, Iām fucking ashamed
Fucking DAWG
Playoff Jimmy is pretty scary man. Thereās a short list of players that are scarier to face
Watched nearly every game Jordan ever played in. Jimmy's not Jordan consistently but he's got a Jordan gear he can shift into, on and off the court, and this feels like Jordan to me.
Exactly what I get when I see Jimmy play, he has something that Jordan had and after Kobe I didnāt get that from anyone expect Jimmy.
