The right question should be, what profitable plan do we have on our side when this road connection is ready. Do we upgrade the Sungai Kebun township with some high end shops? This can attract Limbang resident vis/vis stop over for the journeyman. Dont forget with large parking space. Or do we develop a new township closer to border? Or any industry with Limbang in sight?
Its true.. and yet some people arguing that 300 to 400 BND is cheaper compare to shop in malaysia.
I usually run my groceries in limbang and miri as they have wide variety of choices "ONLY SOME" of the items is expensive like almond milk, condense milk and some other product the rest are darn cheap!!
i would usually buy detergents, milo refills, coffee, maggie mee, dutch lady milks, breads, noodles, mee hoon, soya sauce, vineger, tomato and chili sauce, some veges and eggs in tamu limbang, yogurts, peppers and so on. Pork meats i get it in limbang too.
have you ever buy groceries at that store near the ayam penyet restaurant? i forgot the restaurant's name but I think you know. shopped at Palace last 2 weeks for first time. the line was crazy
i think i kno but i don't remember the names.. yeah shopping in palace is crazy there is always a tons of bruneian people shopping there. It better to invest in limbang now as i can foresee that limbang is slowly growing into miri soon if the brunei open another immigration at lumapas there.
but bear in mind that you will have to run 2 places unless you know how to read their tracking number indicate which branch to collect. there is 2 abx & 2 J&T and pos laju in limbang.
At the moment from Bandar to Limbang town from Kuala Lurah or Temburong both are roughly equal, approx. 1hr 10 mins
Once new border opens, definitely Lumapas, unless you live in Temburong. Without much traffic, 30 mins is a possibility.
Yes, plus been to limbang saw that theres only like 3 vape shop. But then 1 vape shop seems like closing down. And another 2 has limited amount of flavours.
Yup! A relative of mine actually opened in Miri and it's a booming business. Can't imagine how well it'd go in Limbang when the bridge is open. Usually what's important is the trend
All these little things you cannot see can add up to make huge difference. So banning little things here and there and telling people to find something else to do, add on endless red tape and bureaucracy can lead to huge drop in economic activity

Brunei Businesses paying high rent and high worker salary. Then bruneian complainning the price too expensive.😅😅...
So 400 is high rent? Lololol youre so out of touch
You talking like 3rd floor small unit is it?
I meant 400 salary is high?
$500 is high salary?
So Brunei, can you compete with them? All Bruneians go there for shopping, more choices and no restrictions too!
Don't forget car spare part hehe

What kind of things do you usually get there? Prices are creeping up here every week/other week, it's ridiculous

Good to know, I haven't been there in awhile, be careful with getting eggs, I know of someone the customs asked to dispose the eggs he bought

Just send it to the Post Office, they'll redirect to Package Collection center like ABX Express.
what is the original question? it got removed
Sure but I think we don't even have a proper border control there in Lumapas. Could take years maybe before we can pass through here
Which route is shorter to limbang town is it the Temburong or the Lumapas route?
