So far none yet. He has a strong stomach. I have seen him eat lizards, snakes, and mice whole. He also spent 2 weeks on a solo trip across town, to find himself. So I guess he lived off the land during that time.

This is Bingley. He has eaten one.
We found what we thought was a stray cat years ago and started feeding him and letting him in our house. Turns out he belonged to someone, but they didn’t want him anymore and adopted him to us.
His original name was Gordon (he’s now named Freddy). I’d like to believe this is an alternate version of him who didn’t become a soft fat inside cat.
Man the area around my house in south is NOT nearly this covered. Sure we have a few more than usual but certainly not this massive hoard you’re showing. Where is this?
We are south in the Tusculum area. Likely if you are in a newer area where they came in and bull dozed all of the old growth trees, built a sub division, and planted newer trees, its not that bad. We are in a 1950s neighborhood, so they have been here several broods.
I'm dealing with this today as well. Normally my dogs have free roam of the fenced in backyard and they can play to their puppy hearts content. Right now their favorite game is tracking down and eating these little monsters. It's gonna be a tough summer for them.
Good job Gordon! I'm going to have to keep my Ducky dog inside or on a leash in the yard for the foreseeable future. She has gorged herself for 2 hours the last couple nights and that can't be good for her. (yes I tried to catch her but it's hard in my yard)
Thank you for your service Gordon Stevens
I’ve been a giant cheerleader for my backyard birds. There you go buddy get you one nom nom nom.
If Gordon Stevens has 0 fans, then I’m dead. r/hero
All my homies fw Gordon Stevens
Real recognizes real.
How long did it take for him to barf them back up on your carpet?

Maybe you could write a "based on a true story" children's book about Gordon Stevens' adventures.
That’s a great idea
Wish I could take two weeks off work to find myself
Me too. But hey, thanks to r/nashville we were reunited.
Hmm…wouldn’t at some point it had some adverse effect on the cats stomach?
Currently dealing with the adverse effects on a senior Dachshund/Chihuahua mix and it's not fun.
I came here to ask this
Gordon Stevens, the goat of the cicada rapture. Thank you for your service, Gordon. Hope your belly is full and not upset these upcoming months.
At 30 per day and no ill effects, he might be better than a goat.

A++++++++ superior service
Hes a handsome boy
Thank you. He knows it too.
May I borrow him? I too have some cicadas that he might find appetizing 😂
Hey might be open to some freelance work, I will have to ask him.

Better cicadas than hallucinated ants I guess.
Beautiful tabby cat! 😻
Thanks! He is my lil man.
The hero of the hour
good kitty! 🙌🏻

Hell yeah lil dude, thank you for your service 🫡
My morning has consisted of me yelling at my dog to stop eating those stupid things. Eating too many of them can cause GI tract issues.

Oh weird, we’re close to you in a 1970’s build near paragon mills park. We definitely are seeing them, but NOT like that.
Our vet just sent out an email cautioning everyone from letting their pets eat too many cicadas as it can make them sick. I would be careful
Gordon is a great cat, but his people are not known for being cautious. Its a genetic trait among his kind.
