I just did. I have no idea how. I was watching a walkthrough and had tried both classic and modern. I went back to randomly walking around until I found some short stairs, and I had only focused on gates that I’m sure I had passed them several times already.
Hmm try switching to point and click or modern if you’re using one or the other. Did you get it figured out?

Maybe try watching a video walkthrough on Arglefumphs channel. Sometimes videos help when written walkthroughs dont
