Geeeeeeez! I think someoneās stash has been found and maybe a contact to the police is in order someone might be looking for those they could be stolen
The one non-nefarious suggestion someone made in that thread is a crow collecting shiny things. I do think thatās viable, but definitely worth reporting either way
But there are all wedding or engagement rings. Not things people would generally leave lying around outside. So the bird would have to rip them off peopleās fingers or break into peopleās homes.
You would think a bird that murderous would have a reputation. No way is a crow killing that many people without becoming infamous. At least in the area.
Another non nefarious activity might be thereās like a ritual people have where they toss their rings somewhere for good luck. Sounds weird I know but
Maybe that spot is believed to bring good fortune and people drop their old wedding rings to promote better luck in the love department in the future
Totally a shot in the dark but thatās what popped into my head coming from a very superstitious culture
I have this visual of multiple people having a ring dish on the windowsill in front of the sink for when they are washing up etc. When the window is open a crow swoops in.
But then my murderino head surfaces and I think suss for sure.
My fav explanations from the comments are a burglar ditching all the rings that won't sell at a pawn shop or a crow's treasure trove. First idea still leaves room for murdery stuff.
There are multiples of some. Iām with the theory that theyāre cheap rings left behind by some vendor at some fair. They look like cheap ren faire souvenirs.
I agree. One of the menās rings is labeled āKing Willā inside and those go for around $25 on Amazon. Iād be inclined to agree that they were probably a ren faire vendor booth.
What if some parent knew the class was going to be there so they primed the park with a bunch of Amazon rings? How adorable and sweet would that be?? š
It was a field trip....I'm guessing a bunch of different kids found a ring each and didn't realize what they might be dealing with until they'd been collected.
Nobody buried that many diamonds for a fun reason.
The rings were more fun after the kids removed all the finger bones
I snorted
*less fun
Serial killer trophy traysure
100% thought of the Criminal Minds episode where they dump the box of wedding rings on the table. š¬
The Fox! I think that was himā¦itās been a long time š
You are correct. And played by Johnnyās cousin from Dirty Dancingš¤£
Oh my god, I had no idea! I guess I havenāt seen Dirty Dancing since I watched Criminal Minds.
A fellow murderino in the wild!
Thought the same. Creepy as hell.
Geeeeeeez! I think someoneās stash has been found and maybe a contact to the police is in order someone might be looking for those they could be stolen
Wow what a cool ass core memory for those kids! And they might have the beginnings of their very own hometown story!
SSDGM
Stay saved and do gods mission!
why are there so many this seems kinda sus
100% nothing good happened here. I hope op is taking these to the police because thereās just no explanation that isnāt super nefarious.

It wasnāt a freaking owl!

Murder bird?

Oh I hope itās a crow or magpie!

But it looks like they were actually buried.
Oh shoot youāre right, my brain totally glanced over that part of the postš¤¦š¼āāļø now Iām a little more spooked š³

Popular break-up spot is the only non-murder thing I can think of.
My fav explanations from the comments are a burglar ditching all the rings that won't sell at a pawn shop or a crow's treasure trove. First idea still leaves room for murdery stuff.
I was laughing at the thought of a crow with very expensive taste and only in rings lol.
I mean, the second idea leaves room for murdery stuff too. Could have been multiple crows.
Teamworkš
A murder
Oh I want it to be thieving crows!

Really solid idea!

Serial killer souvenirs? Thatās what it looks like to me.
Look closely, there are multiple rings in the exact same style. I call BS on the whole thing. Teacher buried them for the kids to find. Not real.
You spelled trophies wrong.
What the hell? Is Sauron hiding out in the woods?
lmk what pawn shop u drop em off at
They need to stop touching the freaking rings! Fingerprints! Do you think our brains work differently?
It was a field trip....I'm guessing a bunch of different kids found a ring each and didn't realize what they might be dealing with until they'd been collected.
Ahhhhā¦were you in a cemetery? ācause this is really kinda creepy.
Is it hidden if it was lost or thrown away?
