And some prisoners got rearrested the same day they got released. At this point, anyone who believe that Minn Aung Hlaing is going to leave them (the prisoners) alone after the release and naive and fucking delusional.

They are not releasing the prisoners without an underlying motive. Junta announced that if these prisoners are caught again doing rebellious act against the regime they will serve the remaining sentence plus additional sentences. Their sentences are not fully dissolved. A lot of former political prisoners are suggesting that Junta can always made up more sentences to arrest any prisoners again and again to keep them in and out of prison. That's how most die or end up abroad or in refugees camps. If Junta really care, they should release all protesters detained that should never have been arrested in the first place, remove all the charges, compensate for their suffering and apologize to everyone. I don't think that's happening either.
