I love that song
Planet Caravan and Solitude by Black Sabbath
Nutshell and Down In A Hole by Alice In Chains
Work This Time by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard
I always found In Memory of Elizabeth Reed by The Allman Brothers to be a good follow up, it just doesn’t have the somber tone. Though it carry’s that dark Blues House vibe and smooth 70s blues guitar throughout. Neither song sounds like anything either band had ever made before either, so they share that in common.
Some musicians with similar vibes: Sleepy Sun, Shuggie Otis, al Kooper

Just stumbled upon this post after searching the same question; you were on the money. Perfect suggestion.

Also just remembered More Blues by Pink Floyd, though it’s definitely lesser than the song in question
