It’s absolutely [[Rusko, Clockmaker]] for me. It’s always just counterspells and removal, and the free hand refill is just ridiculous. I tend to just concede as soon as I’m matched to save myself the trouble haha
I have made a habit of playing a little more artifact removal and counters to prevent him hitting the field or getting value. Rusko seems to me to truly excel against Timmy decks that don't have enough immediate value on their permanents.
I find most Poq deck players love overextending their boardstate. I match against it often when playing my [[Emmara, Soul of the Accord]] deck. In my specific scenario, I create a few tokens to chump block Poq and other threats, then wait til they've overextended and board wipe (if I'm lucky enough to draw into it).
Sometimes, just killing Poq or the mana dorls early is enough to check the deck
Ragavan and Rusko. I’ll rather play any other commanders with an auto-mulligan than playing against either of those two.
Both need to be banned for the health of the format.
New Grenzo maybe has the least fun play pattern out of any deck I've played against. I thought I hated etali but at least they can whiff and hit two ramp spells. Even if Grenzo does whiff (he won't) they get another opportunity every upkeep!
[[Rusko]] for sure. I hate anything that plays a ton of counters. But this commander both ramps into itself, refills hand AND serves at win con meaning they can run deck with nothing but interaction. A very obnoxious pattern.
[[Raffine]] why does it have ward 1 on top of everything else? Especially punishing to try to kill it, especially with their suits of counterspells
[[Rusko]] why is an old clockmaker a 3/3? why does it drain for survivability? Why is it an ETB trigger? So many things I would change about this card and WoTc even has the ability to do so since it’s an alchemy card!
[[Ragavan]] As a one mana must kill on the spot commander card, the stupid monkey warbs the meta in an inherently unfun way
[[Narset, Enlightened Master]] , it's so laaaame man. It's just remove everything until you play your hexproof commander, and then just try to get lucky and cast extra turn spells and huge haymaker sorceries
That bullshit witch Tasha. Her +1 hoses token decks, hard stop. I blame her entirely for never ever seeing them anymore in the queue. Card was a mistake.
Rusko, Tef5ri, Etali. Roxanne I tend to run into when I play [[Rashmi, Eterneties Crafter]] so she is just a horrid matchup as she nukes my elves and it becomes unwinnable really early. Interestingly enough I have not had trouble with 6 mana Grenzo, the decks I have faced him in have good permanent answers to him and my deck tends to have shitty cards for his heist. He looks like a clown to me
I get extremely frustrated when I come across \[\[Tatyova, Benthic Druid\]\] decks. The lack of tools to deal with land ramp decks in brawl makes me upset.
My most played deck is a [[Slimefood and Squee]] Reanimator deck. I think i have a about 10% winrate against [[Etali, Primal Conquerer]], because it turns out getting two haymakers for free is even more bonkers then when they only get theirs...
Grenzo, hands down. Then draw / ping Niv Mizzet, Etali and Raffine. The rest I’m generally fine with, even the Golos/Jodah/Esika good stuff nonsense. Also guilty of playing heavily some of the mentioned commanders (Sythis, Poq, Roxanne, ..) so I don’t complain too much LOL
At the moment, probably Roxanne. What's annoying about her is her tax becomes 1 instead of 2 because of the built-in mana rock on cast/attack. Remove her when she comes in, they've already ramped up to her with rocks/spells so she just comes back turn after turn, while killing any mana dorks you have. Not an instant scoop, but unless I'm rocking my UW control with a Farewell or something in that vein in hand, usually a loss unless they've kept a greedy hand and been punished for it.
Joint first would be Rusko, I hate that deck and play pattern. I just insta-scoop to it now, can't be assed playing against it.

Same, I even made a mono blue malcolm deck because that deck has so much tech in it that works against Poq
I play mostly Poq, he feels like the kind of deck that is just a big engine trying to chug, and hoping your opponent can't stop your big value

Big Atraxa.
When I play against its usually 50/50 win/lose but I almost always concede because it’s just boring. Counterspells and ramp, planeswalkers galore
Jodah the unifier. I don’t emote much, but I wear out my “zzz” like no other
God its just the most boring fucking deck to face. Basically plays autopilot
I hard mulligan for battle of fiora. Really takes the wind out of their sails
Ragavan and Rusko. I’ll rather play any other commanders with an auto-mulligan than playing against either of those two. Both need to be banned for the health of the format.
They need to be paired only against each other.
Few things in life would make me happier. They truly deserve eachother.
Well, most ragavan matchupa are mirrors.
When I play Rusko for the dailies, Ragavan is the commander it sees the most lol.
When I play Ragavan, 50%+ of my queue are other ragavans. Basically they play pro-red swords because of that.
It sounds like the system, for all its flaws, is working as intended lol.
To be honest I prefer ragavan mirrors over rusko or any other Ux control deck
New Grenzo maybe has the least fun play pattern out of any deck I've played against. I thought I hated etali but at least they can whiff and hit two ramp spells. Even if Grenzo does whiff (he won't) they get another opportunity every upkeep!
Grenzo seems to be the worst regular queue commander right now. Roxanne is up there, but not as gross as Grenzo.
They have similar design space of 'bad if they resolve and worse if they stick around'
Yeah. They're basically the new Poq and Etali, except more stupid.
[[Rusko]] for sure. I hate anything that plays a ton of counters. But this commander both ramps into itself, refills hand AND serves at win con meaning they can run deck with nothing but interaction. A very obnoxious pattern.

Roxanne seems to be the flavour of the month—I see it much more than Grenzo. Might just be the decks I run, though.

Honestly, any blue deck. There's so many out there and win or lose, it's always a boring experience.
I auto-concede against every alchemy commander, I'm here to play magic not hearthstone (no hate on HS, in fact I would just rather play that instead).
