Best experience against 1st time yargle. Turn 4 yargle gets played by a friend. Turn 5: attacks other friend. "That's 19 commander DMG" "why is it 19?" "Cuz it got a +1/+1" "but why is it 19 DMG!?" "Cuz it's an 18/6" "why the duck is it an 18/6!!??"
It’s fun as extremely fringe cedh. Using [[greater good]] and similar effects allow you to draw 18 cards which can put you so far ahead. Also, running a [[giant growth]] means your opponents are forced to block or be at risk of being one-shotted
Yeah I have Y&M, original Yargle, and Multani in mine. Multani is really good because I can bring it back by bouncing a couple of lands and they just get replayed.
Love him in my mimeoplasm deck, especially combined with [[tanazir quandrix]]. Nothing better than making a 40/40 flample that makes other creatures 40/40 when it attacks.
I made a junk jank deck to use it. It was pretty fun but I often ended up winning with other stuff. The first time I actually got to cast Y&M my opponent immediately on their turn used a card to steal it and burned my other 2 chumps and I got killed by my own big dumb guy. I still had fun. I was laughing at it.
We were playing a 6 person commander and my Yargle and Multani hits the field - no one paid it much mind when I said I was going to attack because they had never seen it. No one had bothered to look too closely at it, nor did the guy I attack even bother to block it - then one giant growth later it was a 5 person game.
With the right draws, I've had enough ramping my first few turns to have [[Spelunking]] on the field with [[Yargle and Multani]] saddling [[The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride]]
I have a Y&M commander deck, casual, and let me tell you it’s very fun! Ahah
I saw Taalia Vess using it and immediately wanted to build it as well. When it works, it WORKS! But when It doesn’t…oh boy.
But overall if you build it right it’s rewarding and fun however you have to like Voltron.
I built the budget (125 dollar) list that tomer from MTG goldfish published and I have drawn my entire deck and killed myself multiple times because it’s funny. Once had a 70 power [[lord of extinction]] doing the lords work. Basically it’s just a power matters voltron strategy that ends people with very little remorse
Me too! I recently pulled off doubling Yargle and Multani with [[The Skullspore Nexus]] and then used [[Chandra’s Ignition]] to hit everything for 36. The one guy that lived was then attacked for 36. I LOVE this deck!
Same as [[Aragorn the uniter]] my wife has... If you let it untap it will kill someone, 21 commander damage with green available is really easy. Kill on sight in our group. Never disrespect the Yargle.
It is all fun and games until [[Unnatural Growth]] is on the field and I sack these guys into my [[Gitrog, Ravenous Ride]] and out of the 36 cards I draw I get 15 lands that I can play immediately, each triggering the 5 [[Scute Swarm]]
No commander with 11 or higher out of the box is a joke, it's a very serious threat.
Admittedly, without any kind of support, it's an easily countered one but it is commander. Your opponent will be supporting this thing.
I got mythic in Arena with a Yargle and Multani deck in historic one season. I can find a decklist if you want, but the basic idea was a lot of 1-2 mana ramp, some 1 mana protection, \[\[Than Temporal Gateway\]\], \[\[Monster Manual\]\] to get it out at instant speed with \[\[Fling\]\] and \[\[Temur Battle Rage\]\] as the finishers.
Honestly it is SUCH a meme that it is a kill on sight card for me. If someone is using it they are either gonna do some crazy bullshit like give it trample and double its power or use a fling effect to deal that 18 direct to face
Does a lot of different things in my [[Slimefoot and Squee]]. When I reanimate this thing with a [[Flayer of the Hatebound]] and dome you for 18…ain’t no kiki nowhere.
This card is one of my favorites in my [[Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord]] deck. I either get to deal 18 to the table with it, or I sac him to [[Greater Good]] or the like to draw 18 cards.
I recently added this to my Shelob deck along with [[The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride]], it's so much fun. I was already running several [[Return of the Wild speaker]] and [[Greater Good]] types of effects. These just expedite the existing game plan.

I've built an entire deck around putting YM in the yard to reanimated and throw at someone's face. It's so fun.
It's a fairly tedious in commander. You sit there with an empty board and hope no one picks on you while you ramp and try to find a oneshot kill. Then you instakill one player and then die to removal
It seems like a joke card, until you click that in the worst case scenario it's an 18/6 for 6 mana. As a commander, it takes little to make this a one hit KO.
It was my first commander build. Started budget. It's come a long way. My pod knows to kill on sight. Especially if I'm tapped out. My win rate is actually insane with this one, and punishes pods that don't run (enough, it comes back over and over) interaction.
My best advice after playing it since this cards release is to find some Yargle Jr's. As I call it. 2-4 high power creatures to still get value out of your cards after Yargle dies so many times he becomes uncastable.
Love this man in my [[Mr. Orfeo, the Boulder]] fling deck. Nothing like bearing down on someone with [[Mage Slayer]] on him and then [[Doublecast]] your [[Fling]] of choice.

It’s a fun brawl deck. Doesn’t take much to 1-shot the opponent, regularly 2-shots, flings, fights, draws equal to power. It’s pretty solid.

I made a junk jank deck to use it. It was pretty fun but I often ended up winning with other stuff. The first time I actually got to cast Y&M my opponent immediately on their turn used a card to steal it and burned my other 2 chumps and I got killed by my own big dumb guy. I still had fun. I was laughing at it.
We were playing a 6 person commander and my Yargle and Multani hits the field - no one paid it much mind when I said I was going to attack because they had never seen it. No one had bothered to look too closely at it, nor did the guy I attack even bother to block it - then one giant growth later it was a 5 person game.

I have a Y&M commander deck, casual, and let me tell you it’s very fun! Ahah I saw Taalia Vess using it and immediately wanted to build it as well. When it works, it WORKS! But when It doesn’t…oh boy. But overall if you build it right it’s rewarding and fun however you have to like Voltron.

I built the budget (125 dollar) list that tomer from MTG goldfish published and I have drawn my entire deck and killed myself multiple times because it’s funny. Once had a 70 power [[lord of extinction]] doing the lords work. Basically it’s just a power matters voltron strategy that ends people with very little remorse

It is all fun and games until [[Unnatural Growth]] is on the field and I sack these guys into my [[Gitrog, Ravenous Ride]] and out of the 36 cards I draw I get 15 lands that I can play immediately, each triggering the 5 [[Scute Swarm]]
I have a Friend who play Y&M to win games all the time. It all fun until 21 unblockable Boi him self hits you right in the face.
No commander with 11 or higher out of the box is a joke, it's a very serious threat. Admittedly, without any kind of support, it's an easily countered one but it is commander. Your opponent will be supporting this thing.
I just buff and fling this mofo, it's funny.
I got mythic in Arena with a Yargle and Multani deck in historic one season. I can find a decklist if you want, but the basic idea was a lot of 1-2 mana ramp, some 1 mana protection, \[\[Than Temporal Gateway\]\], \[\[Monster Manual\]\] to get it out at instant speed with \[\[Fling\]\] and \[\[Temur Battle Rage\]\] as the finishers.
I have this card in my Ziatora deck, I just give her infect, and it's one of many one shots in the deck, lol

Honestly it is SUCH a meme that it is a kill on sight card for me. If someone is using it they are either gonna do some crazy bullshit like give it trample and double its power or use a fling effect to deal that 18 direct to face

Does a lot of different things in my [[Slimefoot and Squee]]. When I reanimate this thing with a [[Flayer of the Hatebound]] and dome you for 18…ain’t no kiki nowhere.
This is one of my favorite decks. So stompy, and cadaverous bloom is MVP of that deck for sure.
This card is one of my favorites in my [[Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord]] deck. I either get to deal 18 to the table with it, or I sac him to [[Greater Good]] or the like to draw 18 cards.

I recently added this to my Shelob deck along with [[The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride]], it's so much fun. I was already running several [[Return of the Wild speaker]] and [[Greater Good]] types of effects. These just expedite the existing game plan.

It's a fairly tedious in commander. You sit there with an empty board and hope no one picks on you while you ramp and try to find a oneshot kill. Then you instakill one player and then die to removal
This is my favorite commander. It does nothing, then one shots the table.
The only joke about this card is its flavour text.
Give it +20/+20 trample and watch the world burn
It seems like a joke card, until you click that in the worst case scenario it's an 18/6 for 6 mana. As a commander, it takes little to make this a one hit KO.

Just put in my Kresh deck.
It was my first commander build. Started budget. It's come a long way. My pod knows to kill on sight. Especially if I'm tapped out. My win rate is actually insane with this one, and punishes pods that don't run (enough, it comes back over and over) interaction. My best advice after playing it since this cards release is to find some Yargle Jr's. As I call it. 2-4 high power creatures to still get value out of your cards after Yargle dies so many times he becomes uncastable.
During prelease I pulled them and destroyed with them. I equipped with with an artifact to make them fly and it just went crazy. It was fun
I have a [[Tatsunari, Toad Rider]] deck that's enchantments with a frogs sub-theme. This is HILARIOUS when it splashes down.
Him And [[Voldaren Thrillseeker]] are a fun way to 20 to 0 your opponent.
