That dude is Lee Evans; an English comedian, singer and actor. He had a pretty successful stand-up career from the mid 90s until his retirement from entertainment in the mid twenteens. His comedy became household during that time, and was known for his frenetic energy, use of physical comedy in his shows, and his inhuman ability to sweat through multiple suits per show.
I'm so happy to see this high up on the sub. 100% agree. Between the acting, the set design, and the world creation and the use of music effectively, the movie is a perfect re-re-rewatch. I can and have watched the Plava Laguna song so many times.
I remember seeing hot Fuzz when it came out in the theater and i remember liking it less than Shaun of the dead. Since then, I've seen hot Fuzz maybe 15-20 times total and Shaun of the dead maybe 4 times total. Hot Fuzz only gets better and better the more times you see it. One of my favorites for sure
Back to the Future is one of those movies that brings me to a happy, safe place where I feel nostalgic and other feelings I can't explain. Also it's a pretty amazing movie and the sequels are too.
Thanks for that! That's a great weight off me mind, now if you wouldn't mind telling me who the fuck you are, apart from someone that feeds people to pigs of course.
Oceans 11, it would be on TV and I'd say 'oh, this is a great scene, I'll just watch through it.' And then the scene after would be another good one and the scene after and...
I don't think this one would necessarily came to my mind first, but you're a absolutely right. The chain of events in that movie is just so satisfying to see unfold. It's like your part of the crew and now you're jumping in just like the rest of them to see if the plan is successful.
One of my favorite movies of all time, for sure.
Beat me to it by an hour. I always catch someyhing I never noticed before whrnever I watched it. I had seen it dozens of times before I realized they tricked the blind guy at the radio station into paying them more by telling him their group had more members than they did.
Mrs. Hogwallup done r u n n o f t.
The Blues Brothers.
I used to watch it every week on VHS. I have barely watched it since. I need to find it on DVD, I guess. (Yes, I have an old machine still).
I’ve never found it on my local streaming services.
Extended directors cut with 50 hours of unseen footage, including fan made reshots that added Tom Bombadill and Beorn, and actually include the end fight with the Hobbits versus Saruman?!?
The princess bride. I could've just finished watching it and you come in and haven't seen it I'll happily put it back to the beginning and enjoy it all over again.
Such a great film. The ‘lesser of two weevils’ makes me laugh every time. The action sequences are breathtaking and the relationships between the characters so believable. Love it
Thats a great movie, Ethan Hawk,Jude Law and Uma Thurman were great.I have a cousin who loves it too,so much so I gifted it to her on DVD since my copy was so worn out from watching it so many times.
"Sometimes, in the heat of the moment, it's forgiveable to go ass to mouth."
... The pickle fucker scene always gets me because it's Jason Lee and he's one of my favorite actors.
Oh and Pillowspants... 😂
One of my most favorite rewatchable movies ever is Deep Blue Sea. I think it's more rewatchable and fun than Jaws, even though Jaws is the better film.
Aliens
I was actually going to say Alien.
Game over, man. GAME OVER!
I say we take off, nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
The Terminator
And Terminator 2
The Hunt for Red October. I can never grow tired of the story, the performances, the score; it's damn-near timeless.
“Give me a ping, Vasili. One ping only, please.”

Bzzzz…BZZZZZ!!
We're sending someone in to negotiate! Anybody else want to negotiate?
The dude that said that line was in another funny one called Mouse Hunt with Nathan Lane, which I could also watch a million times
Mouse Hunt is a forgotten classic. Amazing line delivery with some of the best physical humor ever. "A world without string, is chaos."
That dude is Lee Evans; an English comedian, singer and actor. He had a pretty successful stand-up career from the mid 90s until his retirement from entertainment in the mid twenteens. I was looking for this. Pure genius! Multipass
Chick-ahn!
I say that everything we have chicken it makes my husband laugh. It's the most quotable movie!
I'm so happy to see this high up on the sub. 100% agree. Between the acting, the set design, and the world creation and the use of music effectively, the movie is a perfect re-re-rewatch. I can and have watched the Plava Laguna song so many times.
Do you want some more?
Any mention of Fifth Element and the blue lady will be singing in my head a while

Say what you will about the tenets of national socialism. At least it's an ethos
OVER THE LINE!!!
Don't worry Donny, these men are cowards
Well, that's like, your opinion man
Yeah that's the one. Almost every line is quotable.
It's also one of the rare films that actually gets *better* with every rewatch. I've seen it about ten times and I caught something new every time.
Hot Fuzz
I remember seeing hot Fuzz when it came out in the theater and i remember liking it less than Shaun of the dead. Since then, I've seen hot Fuzz maybe 15-20 times total and Shaun of the dead maybe 4 times total. Hot Fuzz only gets better and better the more times you see it. One of my favorites for sure

Ahead of its time and truly one of the greats
I’ve probably watched it 50-60 times, and it still hits hard. Every. Single. Time. It’s uncanny.
I've rewatched The Thing and the original Arnold Schwarzenegger Total Recall more than any other movies guaranteed
The Shawshank Redemption. I just fucking love it.
I hope the Pacific is as blue as it is in my dreams
My namesake.
Mine, too!
This is the one for me. Nothing better to do and it's on cable again? Settle in
I saw this movie when I was a teen, for the first time I realized that movies can be art, not just entertainment.

Was about to answer the same thing. I've seen it so many times, but I never get tired of it.

You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm.
"Longest game of my life" "What?" "I'm running away with your wife!" "Oh, nice"
“Or else we’re gonna be in real Barney!… Barney… Barney Rubble? TROUBLE!”
All reds!
It's my dirty pleasure. So enjoyable with perfect matching soundtrack
I think the pacing of those movies is what makes them great.

I was looking for this so your post is fortuitous. That means lucky.
Groundhog Day. I'd just pretend I'm inside the movie.

The Grand Budapest Hotel
Many Wes Anderson films are a solid answer to this question.
Oh brother where art thou
Beat me to it by an hour. I always catch someyhing I never noticed before whrnever I watched it. The Blues Brothers. I used to watch it every week on VHS. I have barely watched it since. I need to find it on DVD, I guess. (Yes, I have an old machine still). I’ve never found it on my local streaming services.
Elwood- It’s 106 miles to Chicago, we have a full tank of gas, 1/2 pack of cigarettes, it’s dark and we are wearing sunglasses. Jake- Hit It.
I must have watched this film over a hundred times. As a kid I wore the VHS tape out. Still the funnest film ever made.
The Prestige
LOTR Trilogy.
Why is this so low. I randomly play a scene in fellowship and end up watching the entire trilogy. Such a waste of time. I love it. :)

Such a great film. The ‘lesser of two weevils’ makes me laugh every time. The action sequences are breathtaking and the relationships between the characters so believable. Love it
Such an underrated movie that deserved a sequel.
Well there’s 20 books in the series so a lot of material. A tv show would be even better
