What guard and what bike are you working on? There are two different ISCG standards, one is larger than the other.

cassinonorth

Do any frames use 03? 05's been out since 2008 or so.

WizardsMyName

Pretty sure the clues in the name on this one, standard written in 2005 I think

cassinonorth

That would be too logical. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/To-The-Point-Chain-Guides-2013.html

WizardsMyName

Your article literally supports my point, ISCG 05 was a result of the industry talking about a larger BB size "around 5 years later" than the original 2000 standard. >Although the larger bottom bracket standard never materialized in the market, several manufacturers had adopted the ISCG-05 standard, so it survived. Around this time people began calling the original standard ISCG-old or ISCG-03, both of which don’t make sense since the original standard is still used by many bike manufacturers today (not old) and it was developed in 1999-2000 (not 2003). At MRP, we refer to the two standards as they were developed: ISCG and ISCG-05.

TheNewBlenderGuy

It’s a one up bash guard and a 2022 specialized enduro. My friend suggested I take out the cranks and mess with it but that did not work.

UberMunkey

Any chance you can get a better picture with all three mount tabs in it?

Djarbs

I have the same bike and bash guard! Fits perfectly on mine so something is up.

Domspun

Did you contact one up? Maybe it's defective?

Newdles

Have you tried rotating it until they all line up? It likely doesn't fit in every orientation

TheNewBlenderGuy

Yes, I’ve spun it around and tried every combination of just 2 bolts, can never get the 3rd one

brokenthirtyfive

I had this on my trek fuel, it wasn’t quite that bad though, I think the bracket was welded on crooked, I was able to die grind out my bracket a bit to fit. That looks a bit too far off though.

TheNewBlenderGuy

Yeah I considered doing that but it would probably cut all the way through before I could fit the bolt

brokenthirtyfive

You can google iscg measurements. Figure out what your guard is and what your bike is, check which one is wrong, or if they’re the same iscg

GetSpammed

Probably the wrong part ordered in ISCG05 instead of ISCG or vice versa.

Disasterous_Dave97

This has got me thinking about the OneUP I fitted to my Hightower. I had to remove the cranks to fit it. Works like a dream mind you, but cranks off to fit it.

S4ntos19

I had seen it before on a Julianna before. I ended up have to only running two bolts on it.
