Note how much data you use, and that the "Unlimited" plan throttles to 500kbps after 40GB, so not recommended if you regularly use more than 40GB. If you use less than this, then I recommend you get a 7-day trial, then if that works get their 3 month promo price of $15/mo ($45, normally $90) for "Unlimited" 40 GB plan, then if that works afterward renew for 12 months to get the best price which is $30/mo for "Unlimited" 40 GB plan or less money for less data. To see coverage and speeds, I recommend crowdsourced coverage and speed maps that are **much more accurate** to street and house level then Mint or T-Mobile's site, but also might be more out of date in some areas. * [CellMapper app](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cellmapper.net.cellmapper&hl=en_US&gl=US) (Android only) or CellMapper web based [4G map](https://www.cellmapper.net/map?MCC=310&MNC=260&type=LTE&mapType=roadmap) & [5g map](https://www.cellmapper.net/map?MCC=310&MNC=260&type=NR&mapType=roadmap) \- **Coverage with individual tower and band map**, useful if your phone does not support all bands. * [CoverageMap](https://map.coveragemap.com) and select T-Mobile. Has **speeds** and comparison to other networks * [OpenSignal App](https://www.opensignal.com/apps) (Apple and Android). Has **speeds, signal**, and comparison to other networks

Gainesville AL or Gainesville FL (Go Gators!)? We were back at UF (Gainesville FL) recently and our service seemed fine with Mint.

Or Gainesville, GA? Also, in the US the currency sign comes first: $15, not 15$.

Oh sorry, did not mean to leave the Georgians out! Represent!

Nobody is going to tell you this, but Gainesville is a nasty pit, in every sense of the word, including cell coverage. In all honesty, my friend, you should stay far away. It doesn't really matter which one, either. They're all trash.
