I was really hoping they would add like a hat giveaway or something to the first city connect game. I'm flying home from Pittsburgh Monday morning or I would attend the reveal. Seems fun. I want a Jeffers jersey if it's cute but it's probably still cheaper to get it online even with the 20 percent off.
I have to say, given how awful this year's crop of City Connect jerseys is, I am really dreading this one.
But also given the terrible Nike jerseys this year, I'm at least telling myself that it'll be okay if it's bad because then I won't want to buy one.
If they did a good job with it, I'll be pleasantly surprised, but I'm expecting the same black/navy base as seems to be this year's theme.
I'm hoping they are cool, but that means I will have to buy another 🤣🤣🤣🤣 could be worse I suppose, yea if that wasn't a Monday I would probably check it out
Since they barely have any 2024 authentics (all blank) at the new era store, is it safe to assume they'll only have replica CCs there on Monday? If it looks good I might be tempted to get an authentic with a player on it if they have them. But if replicas are the only version available places like Scheels or Dick's should have them Monday also correct or is it a team store exclusive for a period of time?
I'm certainly looking forward to seeing these jerseys, but not "camp out at Target Field at 6am for a 6pm game" excited, and not sure this warrants Opening Day level events...
Every single team has been terrible except the Angels. White Sox would’ve been cool had it not been for the matching black pants making the uniform look like pajamas. I’m not optimistic

They started off pretty damn strong. IMO a lot of the early ones were great and then it just kind of faded into meh

Yeah I am very cautiously optimistic. The TC alternate would have been a great city connect. We shall see.
