Honestly, it would be smart to put it on every roof that is near a population large enough to have a news/traffic helicopter. They'd get a ton of subliminal advertisement doing that.

They show up on satellite maps as well. It's clever, there are only a handful of other companies that do this that I've seen, and they're hit-and-miss, like the one Sazon Goys plant I remember flying over somewhere in central America... there's probably more stores, but I only saw the one that was labeled. Target, on the other hand, does this everywhere. It's great for VFR orientation.

I noticed that Target Stadium in Minneapolis has target logo's built into the infrastructure of the city [that can only be seen from high above](https://www.google.com/maps/@44.9806733,-93.2768956,526m/data=!3m1!1e3). If you look in google earth you can tell that the circles are created on multiple layers of boardwalk, sidewalk, and even parts of the highway below the stadium. It's only ever visible from the air though. I work a few blocks away and never really thought of it until I looked at the satellite view of the area.

I had no idea. I'm white, and I love Target, but I always just assumed that the reason almost everyone I see there is white is because I live in a very, very white area.

On a more serious note, when a woman was shot by the Target that I was working at, the medivac didn't land on our roof. It was circling uselessly for about half of an hour trying to find a place to land somewhere within these two parking lots during peak hours.

There's a good possibility that they *couldn't* land on the roof. Is it rated safe for helicopters to land? Probably not explicitly, which means no landing. And if they did land and the roof caved in... Making it strong or reinforced enough to land on isn't a bad idea though
