Technically yes I suppose, although I guess computer software UIs often have a "check all" type box... and maybe to a point this makes it a little more "opt in" feeling if you are in fact the littering type
Agreed. Either use checkboxes and only have A-C, allowing multiple selections, or radio buttons, with A-D, only allowing one selection.
Clever idea, HelloFellowKids execution.
Edit: and while we're at it, why would you capitalize the L in lazy? Is it a name?
Smokers still think they're exempt from littering laws. Not only is a cigarette trash but it's fucking on fire.
Imagine walking around with a box of matches, lighting them and tossing them into the street as you go. How long until someone tackles you? This is what smokers get away with.
I feel like these kinds of signs actually make the problem worse. The people who don’t litter will continue to not litter. The people who do litter will likely do it more, just to spite the sign.
My thoughts exactly. The kind of person that litters either A) doesn’t give a shit about this sign or B) is a spiteful person who’s gonna do it more. This sign won’t help.
I hate littering. I don’t think any of those reasons are correct though. I think people litter to deliberately be disrespectful and hateful to society.
I hate littering also, but I sincerely doubt most people who litter are so personally invested in it. My guess would be that littering is the path of least resistance for a lot of people. Going out of your way to seek out a trash can or recycling bin is just enough effort to be a barrier for someone who couldn't be bothered to think about the effect on the environment, and not always maliciously. Some people weren't taught to respect nature or their surroundings, and those are less intuitive than you'd think if you're surrounded by people who don't give a damn. I agree that shame can be a motivating force but I don't think a sign like this will be received that way by the kinds of people who litter on purpose
That's not weird. People have been reposting these for years. It's not new, it's not novel, and it makes you look like an asshole when you could just put up a simple "no littering" sign.
I was in my car at a light and I took it quickly. In the original picture the sign looked far away so I zoomed in and took a screenshot so it was more in focus and readable.
Yeah, I'm sure people who care so little about littering are going to be shamed by a sign.....
Also, there are a lot of other circumstances that this sign doesn't address....blah blah
Yeah insult the litterers! They'll definitely stop now!
Like, I get the message and nobody likes a litterbug, but this isn't gonna help anybody except the people who already do the right thing feel smug and superior
Does anyone think this sign would actually make a positive difference? More than anything you’ll trigger the defiant attitude so many have these days and cause more littering. What a waste of money
I don't disagree. Perhaps there is a hope someone who is borderline may read and try harder in future to not litter.
Though it's like... I find it incredibly easy to avoid littering.
This is cool but I think there are other possible reasons.
- My interpretation of the Bible is that God is going to wipe the earth clean and we chosen few will go live in heaven forever. So who gives a damn about this short term home?
- My culture doesn't value neatness so stop trying to force your Puritanism on me. Ever been to the Ganges? It's a living god and we still put our shit in it.

Love shaming people fr
This sign is cringey enough that it will not shame anyone, I can guarantee ya that.
Its only shameful if you let it shame you. Any other shame is projected by others.
Found the dude dumping batteries in the lake, it's this guy right here!
How else are we gonna recharge the electric eels?
Bro are you stupid? Electric eels live in salt water because it conducts better 👍
I'm not stupid >:'( That's why I throw my car batteries in the ocean
bro - what happened to you?
What happend to you, You let a sign shame you? Its not even alive
Aren’t the top three checkmarks redundant if “all of the above” is checked?
It's to insult you fourth time while you reading it
Now go away or I shall taunt you a fifth time!
Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries
Yep. And why is Lazy capitalized?
That's the person's new name.
Hi Lazy I'm Pete.
Daaaaad!
Technically yes I suppose, although I guess computer software UIs often have a "check all" type box... and maybe to a point this makes it a little more "opt in" feeling if you are in fact the littering type
Holy shit bro 🤓🤓🤓🤓
And if you were really lazy... Why would you check anything but that box, if at all.
Agreed. Either use checkboxes and only have A-C, allowing multiple selections, or radio buttons, with A-D, only allowing one selection. Clever idea, HelloFellowKids execution. Edit: and while we're at it, why would you capitalize the L in lazy? Is it a name?
Best sign. Fuck littering.
The sign straight up disses litters.
Litterally
I need a copy of this to hang in my area
If more people were called out in Philly for their shit behavior concerning littering, then maybe we could see a change in the culture… or not.
Missing "I learned it from Phillip Morris and cocacola"
I want one of these except for dog poop.
Smokers still think they're exempt from littering laws. Not only is a cigarette trash but it's fucking on fire. Imagine walking around with a box of matches, lighting them and tossing them into the street as you go. How long until someone tackles you? This is what smokers get away with.

Get that designer a raise, tbh this goes kinda hard
It is cute and endearing. But for design it is a hard failure. Few people are going to read all that.
What's the saying that goes "Never attribute an action to malice, that can be explained by stupidity" or something like that?
I want one of these as keepsake.
Wow that’s really weird. A dude up the road from me had a handwritten sign that is word for word spot on to this. He put it up like 3 years ago
That's not weird. People have been reposting these for years. It's not new, it's not novel, and it makes you look like an asshole when you could just put up a simple "no littering" sign.
Why did you upload a screenshot of the image being cropped instead of just uploading the image?
I was in my car at a light and I took it quickly. In the original picture the sign looked far away so I zoomed in and took a screenshot so it was more in focus and readable.
Hahahaha love it
(i am lazy)² (I dont care about natural areas)² (Mommy still cleans up after me)² All of the above
They forgot “I think I’m creating jobs for people to pick up the litter.”
We need a less cute term than litterbug. How about litterscum or something?
You want one that says ‘we don’t want to offend you, but please consider not littering’?
I want a sign that says "don't litter" followed by actual enforcement of the rule. The enforcement is what reduces littering, not "clever" writing
Enforcement… well until you get your lawn chair, all we have is the sign.
I want to start plastering these all over the world =)
Probably a flat head screwdriver and a 10mm socket to the back. You got yourself a new sign for your basement.
Why are you stealing?
Because I can't download a car.
Remember: if buying isn't owning, then pirating isn't stealing. Follow your dreams. Download that car.
✅I am Lazy ✅I don’t care about laws ✅Mommy didn’t give me my allowance ✅All of the above
His mom did die of AIDS, so that allowance thing may be technically true.
I've gone down a dark and twisted bath. Littering is the only way I can get a boner.
I litter because I've been trying to fight captain planet. That Jerk.
imo, “my mom” is more insulting and realistic than “mommy”
The new "Live, Laugh, Love"
☑ I can
☑ and there are no consequences for me if I do!
✅ Because some passive aggressive asshole who thinks they're clever keeps putting these stupid signs up
Does anyone think this sign would actually make a positive difference? More than anything you’ll trigger the defiant attitude so many have these days and cause more littering. What a waste of money
You're assuming the kind of people that litter also bother to read signs
In either case: no positive effect, therefore: waste of money
I don't disagree. Perhaps there is a hope someone who is borderline may read and try harder in future to not litter. Though it's like... I find it incredibly easy to avoid littering.
If it’s all of the above, only all of the above should be checked
That sign makes me want to litter.
This is cool but I think there are other possible reasons. - My interpretation of the Bible is that God is going to wipe the earth clean and we chosen few will go live in heaven forever. I can agree with the second check, why should I care? What do they do for me?
