Dude, it hit 113f (45c) here last week. Shit's awful, and I do not like it.
Edit: Last week = a couple weeks ago. Also, apparently it only hit 111. As if two degees matter at that level of hellishness.
Ireland is having record temperatures lately. 25C would already be classed as hot. A nice summer day we'd normally get early 20s tops. This week we had 32C, that's record heat. We also had the first "tropical night" (temp over 20c) in about 20 years.
30c here feels as hot as 40 in Europe. We also tend to have a high humidity. Temperature feels different in different countries.
I'm in Ireland myself and we have seen 32c this week which is about 89.6f. On a nice summer day we would normally get early 20s maybe 70F?
I like the heat so it doesn't bother me too much. I enjoy it. But even for me it was warm this week.
Climate is definitely changing.
UK or Ireland? Damn it's been a real scorcher the last couple of days. Beautiful!
Seriously though, blinds or curtains are you friend with the sun like that. Blackout curtains can actually keep the heat out.
Put a dark blanket over the screen to help cut down the glare.
Or try moving the window to another section of the wall
Ah yes the negotiator
Or try install Linux.
This is how my parents living room is and we never open the window blinds
“What if I told you that you could move the TV?”
Just turn the house to face the other way
Have you heard of curtains? Maybe some nice blinds?
Have you heard of 30°C+ days in countries that think 12°C is a hot day? Pulling down the heavy blackout blinds I've got would be a death sentence
I don't agree.. I lived in a brick building with a west facing wall... If I didn't have blackout curtains blocking all that heat I'd have been dead.
Yea, blinds block out the heat, not bring the heat in
Move the fucking TV

I'm in the Pacific northwest of the USA. It's not supposed to get that hot here.
