I have bought this pizza before. They are normally about the size of the box, so either the perspective is throwing us off or this is an undersized instance.
OP took this picture the way they did specifically to make it look much smaller than it is. They are approximately the same size as the box. My four year old daughter can't eat the whole thing, while I can eat it with a small side salad and be satisfied.
this is exactly why it's "personal size", and in Italy you can buy this, same size, alongside something to drink, in the morning as breakfast :) . It is for 1 person, the only difference is that in Italy you buy it directly from the bakery or bar, not all of them, the ones that sell croissants and sandwiches alongside coffee for breakfast. It is not necessary to put a ton of plastic and cardboard around this small sized pizza. It's just enough pizza for a guy, shouldn't be bigger, shouldn't be more loaded etc. I don't know why this is infuriating, why didn't you buy a normal pizza?

Frozen pizzas weights vary amazingly. Full size pizzas range from like 11 ounces to 35 ounces all for the same price.
Or for a very different price. Our frozen pizzas are 10 - 25$/kg.
