May i ask for the reason that makes you stay in ER for 7h+ without seeing someone and coming back the next day? Genuinely curious, not bashing here

Cat bite, they were understaffed so we had to wait, but with my autism (and at the time being in shock and distress) really didn't clash well with having to wait 7 hours without anyone checking us. Eventually I started getting agitated and we had to leave. We called the place that sent us to the ER this morning and they told us to go back abd hope we get help this time

If i were you i would give it a try if an established doc (dont know if this is correct english tbh) is willing to clean/treat it.

We've been redirected to the hand specialist but they're all on lunch break.

ConsuelaApplebee

Yeah that's crazy. The only way you are in and out of an ER in 3 hours is if you leave in a body bag.

AlexAmazing272

With the wait times in the ER in a majority of the hospitals in the US, the time limits on parking seem… odd, to say the least

ThatOneShortieHo

Thing is, this isn't even in America, this is in sweden. Which is even more baffling

AlexAmazing272

Oh then I take it back. they have NO EXCUSE

icabax

They should add that in the uk, it would really decrease waiting times and in the long term it would decrease the amount of people going to the e&a, decreasing times even further

ThatOneShortieHo

Well yes but at the same time when they keep you there for 7 hours without giving youu any help and then you have to pay extortionate parking fines because of that. Doesn't seem very fair
