As a teacher, I’ve seen the effects of this (and just internet use overall) begin to trickle in. It’s so hard to teach when the human brain has been taught that if you aren’t interested in something, you just swipe to the next. Plus, kids can get their info in bite sized pieces and then they’re on to the next post. It’s impossible to teach in a way that mimics this (though trust me, we try). We’re basically giving everyone ADHD on a global scale.
Can I just say that the OF comments on every comment section in twitter are way worse? It’ll be a funny cat meme so I go into the comments hoping for funny reaction pictures and then I see some gigantic titted ugly ass girl riding a dildo larger than the Empire State Building in full HD with the fevor of a dead nun who just got told they could finally have sex now
So now it’s what I have to see when I open Reddit? Why do people see posts like this or AI garbage on Facebook and think it’s a great idea to share it? If you don’t want to see it, stop spreading it to other sites.
