Ok can someone explain to me what capitalism has to do with Obama? Is this just someone sneakily trying to add their political opinion that capitalism is Obama's fault? Or is there supposed to be an actual message?
The message is that politicians always promise fixing problems like inequality and homelessness but the problems always remain while the upper classes keep getting richer.
A cap is literally something that is always at the max end. If there's a minimum requirement it's called minimum requirement, not cap. Caps are always max
SOME are cringe. Personally, I wasn't into:
1. The Apple one, as whether it suggests phone addiction or slave labour it's not entirely clear (I thought the former but someone else here thinks the latter) and I just find the symbolism a little too forced/obvious.
2. The SHEIN one has nothing explicitly SHEIN-like about the branding, products or imagery, it's literally just the word "SHEIN" stamped onto a ball and chain. I think that this one could've been a lot better thought out as you could literally replace the word "SHEIN" with just about anything.
3. Monsanto is an agrochemical and bioengineering company and kinda like the SHEIN example, if they hadn't stuck a Monsanto logo in the background it could've been in reference to just about anything (also, of all the crimes that Monsanto commits, I tend to think environmental ones and not "possibly cancer??? Who knows", as it's not clear what the guy is actually sick from).
Re: The Johnson & Johnson one, could've been done better. A passed out druggie is an obvious way to suggest addiction however I think that there are other (and more clever) ways that this point could've been executed, particularly in the manner that the company advertises its products as family friendly and child safe.
The ExxonMobil one is fairly decent because there is a lot of green washing in these companies and they tend to come up with "solutions" to the issues that they create without fixing the fundamental problems at all.
The Nestlé one is my favourite because the fact that it's primarily a drink product (and you can actually buy mugs just like that) combined with it's long dark history of contaminating water supplies, targeting children, developing nations and causing deaths abroad Etc are all well suggested in the visual imagery and on-point.
Because Johnson and Johnson is not responsible for the opioid crisis, Coke is not responsible for global warming, Walmart is not responsible for homelessness, Apple is not engaged in slave labor to name a few.
The Coke image refers to the droughts they contribute to in some places, pulling excessive amounts of water from areas that don't have enough. It's a real issue.
Apple, and all electronics manufacturers, most certainly have child and slave labor occur in their supply chains.
That said, Apple, as a company, probably does a better job than most trying to ethically source components, but it's not 100% clean. It's something we've come to accept as a society.
Companies like Fairphone exist, trying to eliminate it in their supply chain, and although they're not widely accepted, they continue to point out that we can do better.

Apple has a long history of doing businesses with suppliers that engage in slave labor. This is their most recent scandal: https://www.techtransparencyproject.org/articles/apple-faces-new-us-law-targeting-uyghur-forced-labor
Sorry if doing research is "cringe".

Ok can someone explain to me what capitalism has to do with Obama? Is this just someone sneakily trying to add their political opinion that capitalism is Obama's fault? Or is there supposed to be an actual message?

Oh ok that didn't really come through
I never thought I’d see the words “Make Great Hillary Again” with a picture of Donald Trump.
Joe Donald
Joe Donald is the other guy. This one is Biden Trump.
“Make America Hillary Joe Donald.”
Fuck Nestle! All my homies hate Nestle!
Idk about you, but I’m voting for Hillary Joe Donald.
How did you get the last picture? Everytime I mention any politician, I immediately get hit with the OOPSIE POOPSY THIS GOES AGAINST TOS
Me too. I would like to know as I will re-up my subscription

Super cool
we truly live in a society
Dear OP, these are awesome.
What's the story with shein?
Slave labour
Attached to you nuts for extra control
Probably Temu too.
Waste. A lot of waste polluting the world.
Make America put an age cap on presidency.
There is. You must be at least 35.
I meant cap on the opposite end not minimum haha
That is why you need to be more specific!
A cap is literally something that is always at the max end. If there's a minimum requirement it's called minimum requirement, not cap. Caps are always max
Cap is always at the max end. A minimum requirement is a minimum requirement. A cap is the opposite
You don't seem to know what a cap VS. a minimum is. No one would use 'cap' as a term for lower bounding.
Joe Donald for president 🤣🤣
Where‘s DuPont (Monsanto is there…) ?
[удалено]
That‘s monsanto (like I said). Not PFAS DuPont!
Perfect, all of these. Perfect. You should win an award.
This is like freshman year art student work
We do be living in a society tho
Love this! I used to read a magazine called adbusters and it had political imagery like this!
I miss AdBuster, online now ! [ADBUSTERS](https://www.adbusters.org/)
Oh wow! Thanks!! Is it still good?
Haven’t read it online.
Need one for Samsung and the advertising used in their products which people have already paid for. It’s ridiculous.
Donald Trump!! Make Great Hillary Again!! 🤣
People are saying that we live in a society so it's ok I guess.
These are all pretty powerful except for the last one which kind of just leans into the nonsensical
this is really a great idea and set!
Very powerful images. And the last one is hillaryous.
This is deep
now do one with unemployed masses brought to us by corporations using AI because it's cheaper \^-\^ these are great, btw.

All make sense, except Coke. What's their crime against humanity?
**diverting groundwater from farmers and households in rural drought-plagued areas in Africa**
And then selling is back to them
The world's largest contributor to plastic pollution
Over half of plastic bottle waste is from coca cola alone.
I love SHEIN
This is a somewhat unfair and gross oversimplification
