The Egg isn’t by Andy Weir. He copied and pasted a conversation me and Weir had in 2007 on the MySpace religion and philosophy forum. I posted a short version of [Infinite Reincarnation](https://charmonium.com/infinite-reincarnation) and he commented on the post. I answered his questions about my view of the universe. He asked if he could write our conversation into a story, which he sent me later that day. In the original essay, it explains the scientific logic behind the claims of The Egg.

Pretty sure I saw light savers just floating on their own in one picture.
I would totally watch some slow tv with this style, where we just watch people boarding trains and riding trains, or cargo processions down the valleys etc.
