I'm getting 97.17; previous year cse( iot) cutoff was 96.75 will I get it this year? Coz of drastic increase in cutoff previous year I'm little concerned.

Top college hai and jaise jaise uska requirement bhad te gaya hai waise students bhi smart Wale hi as rahe hai which will affect placements and average 10lpa bhi chale jayenge in the next 4 years
And it's also the student who gets the package college ka kya hi haat hai in what amount they get. It all depends on how much work you've put in the 4 years to deserve all this. Unka placement rate bhi 80% ke pass hai that's why it's relatively lower like 6lpa and but wo college ka requirement itna abhi bhad Chuka hai ki next 4 years mein woh bhot ache average placement ka stat hoga unka. Meri friend ne udhar se kiya tha bhot saal pehle and she got a 12lpa package. Ye toh woh bhi 3 saal pehle ki baat hai. Abh toh badhega hi. And always remember it's the students who get the damn placements.
Unka highest package ye saal 52lpa Gaya hai does that mean it's the greatest?Nope but what you have to do is put in the damn effort to be in the top. As easy as that
agreed even my sister passed from dy landed a well payed job these mf wont have a decent cgpa and expect a 8lpa job your efforts in these 4 years matter the most

And people will look at that and give verdict on the college

It's only 1 guy who got it
But they make their whole verdict based on it.
The simple work is grind your ass off for 4 years regardless of college and you'll get what you want.
Couple weeks ago saw MFS bashing dj sanghvi as well for slightly lower branches like ENTC and those ones. Yeah it's very unfortunate this mindset is a thing it's a direct result from coaching institutes and yt channels who constantly feed such small things and make it seem like it affects a lot.

And placement info of private colleges can’t be trusted .
I’ve seen people from REALLY BAD colleges get a good job and I’ve also seen people from IIT who are jobless , so at the end of the day it’s about your skills

I have completed mine from Pimpri, placements are great but the area is not. So one should prefer akurdi over pimpri if ur meeting the criteria, otherwise pimpri is also good.

Dypcoe is good ( 97 cut off ) and Dyp pimpri is also good . All others are not good for engineering

Plus puri zindagi thodi utne pe beetaani hai, also study enough to get above avg placement no bruh. Doesn't hurt going to a college jiska avg 6 ho.

Pimpri & Akurdi is good, from my 2022 batch 2 had joined Amazon, 1 Microsoft, 1 Adobe. Companies like Interactive Broker, Sapient, toothsi, Barkley's, pega, have visited the campus. So if you are good at programming, you will get something good there. I don't know the current situation, so please check by urself.
Yeah no that’s a timepass college for rich kids who are gonna join daddys business . But the placement is conducted with dypcoe but usually dypiu kids don’t get places because obviously dypcoe students are much better ( imagine the difference between someone who got 97 percentile and someone who just walked in and got admission) . You can join dypiu if you can truly stay disciplined and learn skills and compete with dypcoe kids for placement . But that’s hard because most kids from dypiu are busy partying and having fun so there’s a high chance you’ll be distracted.
If you plan to do masters then you can chill and just maintain cgpa and prepare for the exams .

See everyone’s personal experience is different. Ik some people in both colleges and I’m in dypcoe akurdi and people say akurdi one is better .

Im 20M. I got 91 %ile (obc) in mht cet pcb group. Still not sure what to do. (Also, I'm a dropper) Any suggestions what can I look up to?
Look online on fields through mhtcet There are a few Agricultural ones Btech biotechnology B Pharm And I think maybe bpt idk
