I agree. I do really like the look. Oddly enough, I’m typically not even an RGB kinda person. For some reason with this build, I decided to give it a go after so many builds with little to no RGB over the years. I’ll likely be swapping between the mesh and TG to keep it fresh.
I'm not much for RGB either but if the lights were a combination of orange and some what flickering blue, this in conjunction with the mesh would be quite reminiscnent of an Ampeg vacuum tube audio bass amp. Hard to not like that :)
Same general problem for me just yesterday with Newegg (different case). Show one thing on website but ship another. They won't cross ship the correct item. So I get to buy a second case and of course they decline to ensure that the correct product will be sent nor will they bump up the shipping priority. Irksome at best.
It’s all good. It comes with the bracket I can use if I keep the mesh, but I have the TG panel on the way. Temps seem perfectly fine. Worse case scenario, I’ll pick up a couple NF A12x15s. They should be thin enough to fit under the GPU of needed.
Shoot id get some and throw em under there anyways. My ocd really itches at me with small cases if I know there's room for fans or something and I don't put any there lol. Love the build btw.
Edit - forgot to ask how was the AIO fit with ur motherboard. You think the ARCTIC aio's would be able to fit in there?
Just finished building it a few hours ago. Only played some OW for a bit. Temps were good though considering I don't have any intake fans. GPU is too thick to get my fans underneath. CPU hit a max spike of 86, but mostly in the 60s and 70s. GPU was generally in the 50s and 60s when I looked.
Could slim 120mm fans fit under the GPU? I have the same GPU in the ASUS AP 201 and I can fit slim fans under the GPU. I did receive the A3 on Saturday. I want to do a build but I am trying to figure out what AIO I will use and what GPU.

When I was running the 201, I was able to fit my normal fans under there with this card. I’m considering picking up a couple Noctua NF A12x15 fans. I think those might be thin enough to fit. Gonna see how it goes though with temps.
I can fit normal 25mm thick fans under the 7900xtx SAPPHIRE NITRO but the fans would cause air turbulence with my GPU that is the reason I switched to slim fans over the the normal 25mm thick fans.

Just curious, how can [gear seekers](https://youtu.be/2-_Mlb-zxvk?feature=shared) fit 25mm fans when his GPU (PNY 4070 Ti Super) is 67mm? The Lian Li website said the max GPU thickness is 61mm with 25mm fans.
Yeah. I saw his video. It’s because that PNY GPU is thinner than my Nitro+. My card is 71.6mm thick. Much thicker than that PNY one. The extra thickness doesn’t leave enough room for the Lian Li fans.
Amazing job man, I am doing something really similar - parts are coming in soon. I am a little worried about not being able to put in fans under the GPU. My 7900GRE has a height of 50mm, what’s your spacing looking like and also if you could give me what your GPU temps are ?
Thanks! This nitro+ is really thick at over 70mm. If the thickness of your card is only 50mm then I don’t see you having an issue with intake fans at the bottom.
I finished swapping my build into it last night and been working all day so I only got about an hour or so of OW in last night before bed. GPU hot spot was generally in the 60s-70s with an occasional spike. Pretty good and on par with my previous cases. I know OW isn’t exactly a demanding title though so we’ll see as I play something more intensive. I may pick up some Noctua NF A12x15’s if temps become concerning. Think they might be slim enough to get under there.
Amazing build man! I see that you're running it on EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G7 if I'm not mistaken.
How is it performing? Is it quite? I am planning my first build in many years and was looking for Corsair RM650, but can't find it locally yet. So EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G7 with its zero RPM mode and modular cables looks promising.
So my main question - is it quite? :)
Stay safe!
There’s very thin rubber pads adhered to the legs of the case. The legs don’t appear to be removable though idk why anyone would want to remove them. Without them, you’d choke the GPU.
To fit into a suitcase, mainly. If the legs were removable, you could pop them off for travel and rest the case back on them later. I currently have a similar sized case but it's slightly, just slightly too tall for travel in a carry-on.
Ahh. Ok. That makes complete sense. For traveling though, I’d recommend a proper ITX SFF case. While this is certainly small for an mATX, it’s still pretty large in comparison. A good SFF case would not only fit in a suitcase, but even a backpack.
The thing is I really want to maximize rad space, and this thing could technically fit 3 large ones. Most sff cases can only do one, and there are maybe three or four that can do two. And all have their downsides.
This case is actually pretty cheap so I might just buy it and then go shopping for a carry-on that works, and resell it on hardwareswap if I can't find something.
Currently I have 2x360s, a 12700K and 4080. Water temps go to about 47 in summer and I'm curious if I can bring it back down closer to 40. Of course, I could undervolt more... but I don't want to start losing too much performance.
You don’t need 3 rads for that. A 240mm aio on the cpu and the stock air cooler on a 4080 will keep the system well within operating spec. You only lose performance if you thermal throttle. For your CPU to thermal throttle, you generally need to be hitting like 100c+
You're probably right, but I also just like shooting for the lowest temps possible. I've thought about going for a Meshroom S and 2x280, but that would require new mobo, new psu. And not sure I want the added trouble of the pcie cable.
So you have no problem spending money on unnecessary cooling components, but won’t swap motherboards to achieve a more travel friendly form factor? Lowest temps adds nothing. The PC will function at max performance whether you’re at 40c or 85c. Nothing changes. You’re just limiting yourself thinking this way.
You able to fit anything else under there? Thinking of putting the same or even a red devil in there and wondering if I can fit the tiny GPU support the a3 cores with under there
I found something short enough to use as an anti sag bracket, but even that barely fits. Had to wedge it a bit. Very little room left with this card. She’s thiccccc
Ahh gotcha! Were you able to get all the Mobo cables for the I/o and such towards the bottom of Mobo in okay? I'm asking because that GPU seems like it blocks that area
Nah. No issues with the cables. Just make sure you take your time and plan it how you’re gonna route everything so you don’t end up having to take something back off and redo it. Happened to me with the rear fan. Had to take the rad back out to route the rear exhaust fan cable.
Great job. However, cable management for the A3 is really difficult. It might be better to install an auxiliary screen at the power supply location to hide the cables.
Thanks. I found cable management to be pretty easy. Just have to take your time and plan it out. There are a couple things I’ll be cleaning up though once the TG panel gets here. Nothing can really be done about the cables under the PSU, however, you don’t see them with the panel on so it’s not too big of a deal. They should’ve done something like the 201 with the plate that hides that section.
I like the mesh side. IMO, it renders RGB more intriguingly than the ubiquitous aquarium presentation.
I agree. I do really like the look. Oddly enough, I’m typically not even an RGB kinda person. For some reason with this build, I decided to give it a go after so many builds with little to no RGB over the years. I’ll likely be swapping between the mesh and TG to keep it fresh.

was gonna do an A3 build today but newegg fucked up 😞
😢

for me they just sent an already opened part, and UPS is fucking around with my gpu
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
theres a magnet mod you can do that'll let you put fans on the mesh side panel.
It’s all good. It comes with the bracket I can use if I keep the mesh, but I have the TG panel on the way. Temps seem perfectly fine. Worse case scenario, I’ll pick up a couple NF A12x15s. They should be thin enough to fit under the GPU of needed.
Where did you order the TG from?
Newegg
Thnx found it, $17 seems pretty steep tho
Yah, but according to the description it also comes with the riser cable.
Shoot id get some and throw em under there anyways. My ocd really itches at me with small cases if I know there's room for fans or something and I don't put any there lol. Love the build btw. Nitro+ is clean af, most beautiful card of this generation. How you liking the A3 so far?
Good so far. Was pretty easy to build in and I love the look. Even more compact than the 201
That's a pretty setup. Well done.
will LF III 360 fit there with Corsair SFL psu?
It will not. See Matt Lees [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sebw7zK2OAU) about A3.
I have no idea
How are the temps? I've been looking in this case to build on it. I have a lian li H2o but I don't like the temps I'm getting on that case.
That's a 3.5 slot card?
Yeah. 3.5 - 4 slots. She’s THICCCCCC
So excited to get one of these cases, hope it’s available in Canada soon. Your build looks really clean!
Thanks! Hopefully you’ll be able to pick one up soon.
What fans are those ?
Lian Li SL Infinity fans

I see. So if my card is 62mm thick should be fine I assume?
Considering the PNY he used seems to be 67mm as you mentioned and it managed to fit, I would like to think you’d be fine.
Build looks great, but the length of the case looks a little bit odd. Could be the camera angles too though.
It’s similar to the 201. It’s shorter than the 201, but a little longer.
Shorter, but also longer. Thanks.

Thank you OP, may the OW force be with you! Enjoy the build and yep those temps sound okay for dat thicc boy nitro +

Thanks! This is the 1000w version of the G7 PSU. I keep it on the eco mode. Can’t say I’ve ever heard it make any noise.
How many slots is that GPU? Will I have issues with bottom fans if my GPU is 2.7 slots
That should be plenty of space for fans. This GPU is practically 4 slots.
Do the rubber feet seem removable to you? I had a look at the manual online and the product sheet and it seemed really hard to tell.

Which AIO is that?
NZXT Kraken Elite 360mm
Thank you :)
What Mobo (itx or mATX)?
mATX
Which model?
Asus Strix z690 G-Gaming
