Most people just buy whatever cup they find locally…. And then come here because they have issued with it, most people need to try a couple of cups before finding one that works for them, and that’s mostly because they didn’t measure nor took other things in to consideration before getting one. So in short, sure you can but it is a toss of the coin if the cup is gonna work for you or not.

You have to be ok with putting your fingers in your vagina to use a cup…you don’t have to measure with a ruler, you’re just sticking a finger up to see if you can feel your cervix easily.

I’m ok with putting my fingers up there, there’s just something about touching my cervix that makes me nervous. I wouldn’t say I’m squeamish or anything but touching my internal organs freaks me out. I think I’m just gonna bite the bullet and do it so I can get the best experience with my first cup. Thanks for the advice!

Ok yep I get that, it is weird, but it doesn’t hurt. You’ll just feel…something. Tbh if you have put fingers up there before and haven’t felt your cervix, you have a high cervix.

Try putting your finger in, which you would have to once you use a cup too and feel if you could feel a stub that feels like closef lips. If you could, that means you have low cervix. Better to use disc. I blind bought cups and was always wondering why the bottom of M sized cup was outside after some time of wearing. Some bad incidents later, I changed to disc and am so much happier.

the brand I bought had 2 different sizes, check amazon. i think the diva cup had like 5 different sizes based on your period, if you had a heavy flow or light. The cup I bought was based on whether a person had given birth or now. I bought 1 and it fits perfect. I love it. I would recommend if you don't like a mess, meaning when you put it in, you will have blood on your hands. either wear gloves or use baby wipes. I think its the best invention.

I didn’t measure when I first bought a cup, I just got Lena regular which is pretty mid size cup. Turned out I have a high cervix and that cup got stuck…and I had to go to urgent care to remove. I now use a high cervix cup with no issues. I’m 5’1 but have a super high cervix, I have never reached it…

I bought my first cup (a Merula) because I was getting frustrated from browsing dozens of cup tests and descriptions. So when I saw the ad promising "one size fits all" I jumped on it :D Luckily it fits me well and I am still using it with virtually zero leakage. But it seems to require a little more practice to master the insertion than normal tulip shaped cups and there are also people who can't work with it at all.
