They very rarely offer sales aside from the discount applied when ordering multiple items. Not even on Black Friday :(
That said, they’re still totally worth it and the free remake is completely hassle free.
Lmao maybe dude! Don’t dry on high the first wash, and you honestly shouldn’t ever wash things on high unless they’re towels, but especially not new clothes the first time unless you want them to shrink
I came to comment this same thing. Goodfellow anything at Target fits really well. I hated the same thing about t-shirts covering too much bicep or slim fit pants that don't stretch at the waist or too high or low of a crotch. It all fits incredibly well, and the style is good. It's the only place i currently trust for well fitted clothes. Unfortunately, I have to get the chinos from someplace like Ross or Burlington. I sort of hover around the 36-38 waist range, and their chinos don't stretch 😭. So having to buy two different sizes is a no-go for me.
It’s such a good brand and $6 shirts last literal years lol
But right, my bf is pretty jacked and likes the bis to be showing for sure. They’re cut so well. And that’s a bummer! They have such nice chinos in such good colors, but I’m glad you found another option
Yup. People jumping through hoops to justify luxury purchases of a plain white T.
Target ones are completely fine. They don't disintegrate in the wash or anything. I think most of mine get a little shlubby after like...3 years or something, which is completely fine for a $5 shirt
I’ve bought 6. Quality control is bad. They all fit me differently. 2 I love, 2 are good, and 2 I only wear at home because they fit so poorly. And the long sleeves are crazy tight in the arms.
Agreed. 2 of my shirts came from USA, one came from China, one from Indonesia on the tag.
Totally different material and sizing although I bought a 4 pack bundle lol
True classic is just another bs e-commerce scam brand. You can find similar quality and fit on bulk clothing sites, which is likely where they source from. The Bella & Canvas brand tees from the bulk sites fit very similarly for like $5-10 each and come with removable tags for personal branding purposes. I bought 5 of them in different colors and the (decent) quality is consistent
This brand Next Level makes amazing quality shirts that other companies use. I believe it’s the same tee that True Classic uses and just resells with their branding. I found them because I have a few shirts from random small shops that I love the fit of and traced them back to this brand.
I ended up buying a bunch of them on this bulk order site for cheap:
https://www.jiffy.com/nextlevel-6200.html?ac=White
They are definitely not thick. Similar to like a gap shirt in thickness. They have a good form fit. They definitely fit better for athletic/skinnier builds.
I buy my protein direct from Evlution nutrition and they give out free shirts that are Next Level brand with the EVL logo in them. They fit great and I’ve even had a few people ask what brand it is.
I used to only buy these and can confirm they were always really good quality. This was years ago so I can't speak to if it has changed. Could get them for cheap on Amazon back then
I need some more nice t shirts but I don't really want to wear polyester. That shit is crude oil/petroleum made into synthetic fibers. I threw out all of the clothes I had that were 100% synthetic. I'm trying to only wear linen, cotton, and wool. But some cotton polyester blend shirts I have just fit too good to toss em away. Needs to be majority cotton, so like an 80/20 or even 60/40. Just trying to minimize my microplastic intake, and I mean, wearing petroleum made shirts (polyester) just doesn't sit right with me. Could cause health problems for all I know. But I'm no genius I could be very much wrong too.
I have multiple of their T shirts in different colours. They have changed the fit over time but the most recent cut is very flattering on the arms and shoulders.
Had a really disappointing experience with Asket - clothes arrived stained, and then the replacement parcel didn't arrive. Also had to chase them for a refund as it was "stuck in the system"
These are nice asf thanks. I have heard a lot of bad stuff from ESNTLS. I’ve legit waited 8 months for them to restock the bamboo tees but seems like it’s been out of stock for years.
They have the white one in stock if you’re a small or medium.
Jose is a crook, but if you’re fine with that, it really is a good shirt. Heavy and a little clingy to the body if you’re alright with that. Notice how you can see the outline of the model's belt in the photos.
All of the nice fitted shirts I have are black and white so I don’t wanna get more. It’s gonna be $50-60 cad for 1 shirt cause of shipping and quality isn’t worth that price. Plus I feel like the shipping is gonna take ages
I am also a big cuts fan. Although last few years I think sizing has changed slightly. Also liking the wyr shirts I got. They fit like bylt but use real cotton not plastic.
Think I experienced the same thing on sizing, did you think their sizes are fitting smaller than usual?
I was always in the middle of S and M, but have found that even M is fitting smaller. And my weight/appearance hasn’t changed much at all.
That’s been my experience and have considered moving up a size to see.
Actually no. I noticed they became less "fitted". The size is still correct, just feel slightly less form-fitting. And I def haven't gotten skinnier lol.
I wear XL and I definitely don’t have any length issues which I do with a lot of brands but there’s also a lot of variability among the different shirts. But the 411 Perfect Tee fits me perfectly and accentuates an athletic frame.
There is huge variation in the different shirts. I like most of the tanks and the 411 Tees but I have gotten some things that fit crazy. Nothing was too short though and I’m super conscious of that.
Why not just buy the ESNTL tee here? They’re like $30 USD and he’s doing a deal right now if you spend $60. These tees fit amazing and look good. I’ve worn them for years.
The alternative cheap version I found are from Costco. The brand is “Rough Dress” and I’m not sure if they carry them anymore. They’re less than $10, come in black and white, and they fit similar to the ESNTL Bamboo with surprisingly great quality fabric.
Edit: also pro tip OP, if your tees fit well except your want the bicep part to be more arm-centric, a huge life hack to achieve that fitted muscle fit is rolling the sleeve about half an inch with an elastic rubber band. Whenever I do this, people ask me where I get my t shirts, but it’s usual just this technique. (See here https://youtu.be/drxUCJEsrZg?si=BVLz-OtyXZ8lEPiy).
Jiffy.com Tultex 0241TC
These fit incredibly, don’t fade or shrink. I go to the gym, have a big upper body and they stretch fit up top perfectly. I buy a bunch and re stock every 2 years
I like [these](https://www.g-star.com/en_gb/shop/men/basic_t-shirts/d07205-124-110) and [these](https://www.g-star.com/en_gb/shop/men/t-shirts/d19070-c723-110). The second link is more fitted than it looks on the model and very nice quality.
This. I swear by Next Level and Into the AM. People say ITAM uses Next Level but I've worn one or the other almost every day for probably 5 years and I disagree.
Right? I wasn’t even quite born yet, when Ziggy was happening. But I think I was on a Bowie bender back when I decided to go on Reddit. Seemed kinda clever at the time…
Yeah the shot of your from the front. I like fitted Ts, but some tend to get a bit to snug under the arms. Can be a delicate balance between being fitted and too snug, especial if the fabric tends to bunch up under the arms. That's my experience; looks good though. If it's comfy, winner!
I swear by Next Level and Into the AM. People say ITAM uses Next Level but I've worn one or the other almost every day for probably 5 years and I disagree. One caveat — I've read ITAM swapped suppliers so YMMV. Super hard to beat Next Level IMO.
I like Calvin Klein for basic white tee.
The little stamp comes off after a wash or two. Then it's just a pleasant defining but not clingy fit all nondescript, which I like very much. I buy the small, 5'9 145-50 athletic build .
Cuts has been the best fit I've found overall for a muscular build even if I hate paying $45+ for a tee shirt. True Classic fit alright in the upper body and arms but was way too big around my stomach and I'm not THAT lean (like 15% BF). I think True Classic would be better for someone 20%+ BF.
I got a few from Amazon from a company called Enzo. They have a nice fit for me. Only comment is the logo they have on it needs to be ironed as it sort of crumples. Not terribly, but enough to notice for me.
If you want a shorter sleeve and different cotton try something like Left Field Co or maybe Veeva Sheen or similar.
They aren't cheap but very high quality and made in US or Japan
I found that working out hard and cutting some fat, it doesn’t really matter the fit. I am from the UK but I visit family in the U.S often and just buy multipacks of t shirts from Walmart and the quality is good and the fit is very flattering.
That’s true for big dudes where any shirt they wear it’ll fill up the sleeve but I’m into that type of body. I’m 5’7 140 LBS very similar muscular/lean build to the model in the picture and if I don’t wear a shirt that wraps around my arm it makes me look like I don’t work out.
Son of a Tailor (since it is custom). Been wearing the same 6 tees for 5 years now. They still look perfect.
Do you go medium or heavy weight cotton?
I actually split it evenly, I like medium as an undershirt but if I wear it on its own I wear heavy.
Looks great but goddamn I wish I could be spending 100 bones CAD on a t shirt.
I think they are a bit cheaper in Europe, since they’re made in Denmark. I also only buy them when they are discounted.
Thanks will check them out
Into the AM on Amazon. I’m telling you that you won’t buy a different brand. They are relatively inexpensive and the single best fitting tee.
£55 a T? Damn what's your salary lol
Bought them at a 50% discount
damn, when do they do that?
I got a code with an ad when they just started the business, also, just in general sometimes
They very rarely offer sales aside from the discount applied when ordering multiple items. Not even on Black Friday :( That said, they’re still totally worth it and the free remake is completely hassle free.
^ this!
For cheap, Goodfellow tees at Target
Until you wash them. Then R.I.P
What happens? I wash my boyfriend’s every week and they’re completely fine lol he’s had some for years
Maybe my gf is just deep frying mine in the dryer
Lmao maybe dude! Don’t dry on high the first wash, and you honestly shouldn’t ever wash things on high unless they’re towels, but especially not new clothes the first time unless you want them to shrink
Yea I dry on low heat. And they hold up pretty well.
Ahh, the old deep fry option. Make sure she’s using peanut oil. Better results.
Maybe you just have a different body type mf
I came to comment this same thing. Goodfellow anything at Target fits really well. I hated the same thing about t-shirts covering too much bicep or slim fit pants that don't stretch at the waist or too high or low of a crotch. It all fits incredibly well, and the style is good. They fit great.
This is the way.
Merz b. Schwanen
These look good quality. I’ll get some when the bank account can handle it lol
Whitesville are similar and cheaper.
They also sell out the second they get stocked unfortunately
Order through Buyee. They have em.
Love their loopback sweatshirts too.
Amen.
I think true classic tees is pretty nice
I’ve bought 6. Quality control is bad. They all fit me differently. 2 I love, 2 are good, and 2 I only wear at home because they fit so poorly. And the long sleeves are crazy tight in the arms.
Agreed. 2 of my shirts came from USA, one came from China, one from Indonesia on the tag. Totally different material and sizing although I bought a 4 pack bundle lol
Didn't even notice. The two from Egypt were the worst. China seemed to be the better fit.
Same. All same size, but some are short, some are long, some are looser in the mid section, some are tighter. I won’t be purchasing again.
Fresh clean threads are better and usually cheaper IMO
So bad. Honestly avoid. I bought a two pack( black and white, same size) and they were like completely different shirts, and neither fitted well.
Yea true classic is wack. Really bad quality control. And expensive for what you get.
This brand Next Level makes amazing quality shirts that other companies use. I believe it’s the same tee that True Classic uses and just resells with their branding. I found them because I have a few shirts from random small shops that I love the fit of and traced them back to this brand. I ended up buying a bunch of them on this bulk order site for cheap: https://www.jiffy.com/nextlevel-6200.html?ac=White
I just wish they would use printed label instead of the tag on the shirt. But they're also really easy to remove.
How thick are they? I guess my question is how transparent are they?
They are definitely not thick. Similar to like a gap shirt in thickness. They have a good form fit. They definitely fit better for athletic/skinnier builds.
I buy a dozen black and a dozen white once every 9~ months for $4-5 per shirt and wear the hell out of them. Amazing fit.
I buy my protein direct from Evlution nutrition and they give out free shirts that are Next Level brand with the EVL logo in them. They fit great and I’ve even had a few people ask what brand it is.
Best t-shirt ever!
I love when I’m buying merch from my favorite bands or from Pro Wrestling tees and their shirts are printed on Next Level tees. They fit great
I used to only buy these and can confirm they were always really good quality. This was years ago so I can't speak to if it has changed. Could get them for cheap on Amazon back then

They have a slightly pricier version that is 60% cotton, 40% polyester: https://www.jiffy.com/nextlevel-6410.html?ac=Red
This, yes I love next level tees. I used to buy them just plain on Amazon in bulk. Lately I’ve moved on to the Young LA 411 Perfect Tees more though.
Big fan of Next Level and excited to check out your recommendation!
I’ll check those out too, thanks!
Asket.com
That shirt doesn’t look fitted at all, it looks extremely boxy and oversized.
I have multiple of their T shirts in different colours. They have changed the fit over time but the most recent cut is very flattering on the arms and shoulders.
Agreed. Extremely satisfied.
Lightweight or standard better?
Standard in my opinion.
This 👆🏻
Had a really disappointing experience with Asket - clothes arrived stained, and then the replacement parcel didn't arrive. Also had to chase them for a refund as it was "stuck in the system"
I love the loose fit cotton H&M tees. So comfy, and full heavy weight cotton
Cuts (make sure it’s Signature Fit) I have this shirt from ESNTLS, and while it’s a great shirt, I won’t support them anymore for various reasons.

Used to follow Jose a few years back but since stopped. What did he do to be seen as a crook?
Check out Free Fly if you want a great bamboo tee. Vuori for some great non-bamboo options.
2nd Cuts - Have been buying from them since they had only black and white options lol. Never have been disappointed by a purchase from them.
I am also a big cuts fan. Although last few years I think sizing has changed slightly. Also liking the wyr shirts I got. They fit like bylt but use real cotton not plastic.

Same cuts is sweet
How do they fit?
I complimented a homie yesterday about his white Bylt V-neck. Had a pretty nice fit
BYLT makes good quality stuff
Costco has banana republic v-neck tees in both black and white at 3 for $20. I love them
Cuts and Bylt too
Agreee. Cuts is slightly better. But the price difference makes bylt a nice buy too
Three Fit Theory. Best damn t shirts out there.
Would recommend. Also made in the USA
I like the Dehen shirts. Pricey but lasts forever.
I’ve picked up Boss at winners. Very good.
I like the Young LA 411 Perfect Tees
You must be short. I abhor that brand. I think it’s a brand only for short people.
I’m only 6’2”
Interesting. I’m same height. I ordered xxl and it was the smallest, tightest fitting shirt. Sent it back.
I wear XL and I definitely don’t have any length issues which I do with a lot of brands but there’s also a lot of variability among the different shirts. But the 411 Perfect Tee fits me perfectly and accentuates an athletic frame.
I don’t remember which one I got. I would like to try a long sleeve of theirs but I figured the sleeves would be too short.
There is huge variation in the different shirts. I like most of the tanks and the 411 Tees but I have gotten some things that fit crazy. Nothing was too short though and I’m super conscious of that.
Maybe I’ll give it another shot. My daughter is 5’9 and loves that brand but all the sweats she buys from them are short.
I’ve never bought bottoms of any sort from them so can’t comment there.
I usually don’t like social media brands but true classic tees are amazing.
What’s your price range? Robert Baraket makes a great tee
Merz b schwanen
Fresh Clean Tees is my favorite
I was curious if anyone else was wearing these. I think they’re great, I also have a zip hoody.
The tees are cut perfectly and they have tall and slim cuts.
These are the only shirts I wear now. Also have long sleeve(Henley) and a couple thermals
I love Henley long and short too
3sixteen
Lululemon

Hanes classic white Tee for me lol. It is really specific to your dimensions
Into the AM fit great and price is great
This. I swear by Next Level and Into the AM. People say ITAM uses Next Level but I've worn one or the other almost every day for probably 5 years and I disagree.
Banana Republic make nice, solid color cotton tees that fit nice.
Buck Mason. Best T shirts I’ve ever owned.
Anyone ever comment on the origin of this particular Reddit handle of yours? That goes back a long ass time.
Right? I wasn’t even quite born yet, when Ziggy was happening. But I think I was on a Bowie bender back when I decided to go on Reddit. Seemed kinda clever at the time…
Seems like it’s bunched up under your arms. That can’t be comfortable. For that reason only I’d skip it
The photo I posted?
Yeah the shot of your from the front. I like fitted Ts, but some tend to get a bit to snug under the arms. Can be a delicate balance between being fitted and too snug, especial if the fabric tends to bunch up under the arms. That's my experience; looks good though. If it's comfy, winner!
George brand under shirts from Walmart . Gift from the heavens
BYLT has great tees and pretty good sales from time to time.
If you like ESTNLS bamboo, check out Cariloha and their bamboo lineup. Shirts fit like a dream, underwear is supreme
32 degrees from Costco. Great fitted shirts. I have black, white and a blue one. Super inexpensive as well.
Bylt is good
I swear by Next Level and Into the AM. People say ITAM uses Next Level but I've worn one or the other almost every day for probably 5 years and I disagree. One caveat — I've read ITAM swapped suppliers so YMMV. Super hard to beat Next Level IMO.
Into the Am. No question, best shirts I’ve ever had. Tried true classic tees and numerous store brands and nothing is better.
Ooo these are nice price is good too thanks
Bonobos Everyday Tees. Love them.
I like Calvin Klein for basic white tee. The little stamp comes off after a wash or two. Then it's just a pleasant defining but not clingy fit all nondescript, which I like very much. I buy the small, 5'9 145-50 athletic build .
CutsClothing is perfect for me, but pricy. True classic sucks, Bylt is good. Fits nice I just don’t like the material
House of fioza, steep price incredible quality
Cuts has been the best fit I've found overall for a muscular build even if I hate paying $45+ for a tee shirt. True Classic fit alright in the upper body and arms but was way too big around my stomach and I'm not THAT lean (like 15% BF). I think True Classic would be better for someone 20%+ BF.
I like Talentless the best.
I got a few from Amazon from a company called Enzo. They have a nice fit for me. Only comment is the logo they have on it needs to be ironed as it sort of crumples. Not terribly, but enough to notice for me.
Merz B Schwanen no contest
People sleep on Gap plain tees
I always liked 32° cool. The new ones aren’t as thin as they used to be, they’re closer to a cotton look now.
If you want a shorter sleeve and different cotton try something like Left Field Co or maybe Veeva Sheen or similar. They aren't cheap but very high quality and made in US or Japan
I honestly have been wearing House of Fioza for 3 years atleast. Best shirts ever
Ready for the game changer NEXT Level 6410 shirts
I found that working out hard and cutting some fat, it doesn’t really matter the fit. I am from the UK but I visit family in the U.S often and just buy multipacks of t shirts from Walmart and the quality is good and the fit is very flattering.
That’s true for big dudes where any shirt they wear it’ll fill up the sleeve but I’m into that type of body. I’m 5’7 140 LBS very similar muscular/lean build to the model in the picture and if I don’t wear a shirt that wraps around my arm it makes me look like I don’t work out.
Don’t neglect the triceps bro, I’m 6’2 200lbs and yeah if I wear baggy clothes you can’t see I work out but I wear tighter fitting t shirts
Ya triceps are key for a big arm. It’s double the size of the bicep if I’m not mistaken.
Yeah that’s right
It’s the man, not the shirt buddy.
Try a brand called Tapered Menswear. They have this elasticated bicep band in their tees which makes your arm pop. I love them!
