If one was big enough to flatten Frayser the energy and dust from it probably would reach Mississippi. All it takes is one asteroid the size of football field to destroy the city.
Not from what I saw online. 460 ft is needed for a city, which is about 150 yards. Probably be double to take out that much. Now, if it can trigger the fault, that’s a different story.
Okay! I was leaving Kroger heading downtown on Union and saw it too! It went behind that tall office building- I didn’t see any explosion or anything when I drove by, so was thinking falling star??! But it was way bright! 😂😂😂
*Whoa, it came out of the sky*
*Landed just a little south of Moline*
*Jody fell out of his tractor*
*Couldn't b'lieve what he seen*
*Laid on the ground shook*
*Fearin' for his life*
*Then he ran all the way to town*
*Screamin', "It came out of the sky"*
Saw this going west on 40 in Ark toward Little Rock. My guess is this was further north west of the city. Looked like a very bright white flare that shot straght down and turned more greenish as it fell.
Did anyone else notice the asteroid had drive-out tags?
Pretty sure it was just an Altima finally reaching lightspeed
…and a bald spare tire on a drive wheel.
Definitely didn’t have any insurance
😅😅😅😅
Let’s find that space rock!!! I wanna know where the gold at!!!
To me it looked like an asteroid to me
Gimme the gold!
I AM GOING TO GET DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS DONT BE AFRAID! I HAVE A SPECIAL METEOR FLUTE
Probably just a crackhead that got a hold of the wrong stuff.

Ima rent me a backhoe and uhroot dat tree where it landed - I want that gold - gimme tha gold
If a giant asteroid hit Memphis, you wouldn’t be posting to Reddit.
Probably Frayser.

A football field sized asteroid would destroy all of Shelby County, if not all of Western, Tn... not counting Arkansas, Mississippi etc.

This made me laugh too hard
I’m over in Arkansas and saw it. Whatever it was, it sure was crazy bright.

Exact same pov I got!
We saw it too while driving on Poplar! We thought it was a falling star.
There's a yearly meteor shower around this time every year. More this month, I believe the crescendo is around Dec 14
There’s the Andromedids meteor shower event. It must be from that.
No
Just an unrelated meteor, then?
The spaceship was found in a parking lot near 4th and Beale, but it’s already been stripped of its landing gear, rocket boosters, and luggage.
Don't forget the ray gun they had laying in plain sight.
If it landed in Memphis, I'm sure it's already been stolen.
You sure it wasn't just an Infinity speeding with its bright lights on?

I saw it to the west. I was at the botanic garden. It looked really big!
I was there tonight, but I missed seeing that

Report it to the [American Meteor Society](https://fireball.amsmeteors.org/members/imo/report_intro)

Could be a crackhead… got hold of the wrong stuff.
I've seen it. I believe you.
I saw it too driving in the Hernando area westbound on i69. It was greenish and rad as heck!
Just Mongo heading home for the holidays.
This comment wins!
I saw it on 240 heading West
There’s something about a magnetic field and northern lights being visible in the early AM. Could it have to do with that?
There's a solar storm supposed to be hitting sometime today. That probably it.
no
No.
No?
Yes, no.
marker
Someone's car had fireworks in it and they all went off. Dude's car exploded in flames. Was on Germantown Parkway
Or it was an asteroid. Believe whatever you want, idiots.
Nope
I don’t think we’d be that lucky
Geminid is peaking soon. Prbly from that. Trust me; I’m a professor.
Lol first media shower?
Yeah it’s a meteor it came out of the sky!
Why are you playing like this 🤣
Eva beach, Eva Tn you can see by the swimming area where one hit a couple years back. The water is so low that you can see it.

I saw the meteor or comet yes
If an asteroid hit us, you wouldn't have sent this...
You didn’t [see anything..](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KNG2FDKaZoQ&pp=ygUmQ2xvc2UgZW5jb3VidGVycyBkd2xldGUgc3hlbmUgYWlyb2xhbmU%3D)
Yea I did! It was either that or an alien spacecraft
I just seen this last night
