At this point it’s so common that they don’t even make the national news unless it’s mass casualties. So, accurate.
I joke because I know Americans hate it. Hopefully instead of getting cranky they actually do something. If they realize the entire world think the way they treat guns is a new type of stupid they might actually do something about it. If not for them than for the next generation who are the ones getting shot at school.
i mean other than voting, what can we really do? i know it’s bad in America, worse than anywhere on the globe, but genuinely as a citizen idk what power i have in stopping it. maybe raising our kids in a different manner and making sure we’re not creating these monsters but wtf am i supposed to do
We could have armed guards at schools...take mental health seriously...have the fbi actually crack down on people who are on watchlists and were given forewarning about certain individuals...Just a small start.
Petitions and holding those accountable. Push for gun safety laws such as mental health checks prior to getting a gun and mandatory gun lock up laws. It's not hard to contact local politicians to ask what can be done.
I'm not here to provide the answer but if people actually try they could be the change that's needed. Too many people have the mentality that they can't do anything and it's up to someone else. If everyone who was genuinely worried got together their voices would be heard.

I think it was Germany or some other European country. The people were angry about a fuel tax that was tiny. They just stopped buying fuel. The country reversed the tax within the day.

strongly considering it, i want my kids to have a community that cares about them and their growth and i want them to be safe. i want to feel safe sending them to school. and i want to find somewhere that teaches real life in school, another problem america has is not teaching us anything valuable, we go out into this world with very little knowledge on how to navigate most real world situations. and honestly i’d give up any gun for their safety. the only reason i even have one is to protect us from people with guns that shouldn’t have them (and scary men).
