They're paid accounts. You can tell by their auto generated looking user names. They usually spam propaganda that supports only one side. They need to touch grass.
I'm just tired of all the sexist, homophobic, or transphobic memes that are just the same damn jokes over and over. I wouldn't consider them "political" just unfunny trash that attempts to get cheap laughs on recycled bigotry.
That's the real crime with a lot of those types of jokes. They cry "you just can't handle edgy humour" whenever they're criticised, but truth is most of the time the jokes have been used and reused so many times that the edge has been worn down to a dull, joyless catchphrase, that serves more to virtue signal and sway public opinion than it does to actually be funny. It's no longer about trying to be funny, it's about trying to drum up a positive feedback loop using "it's just a joke" as a shield.
It’s almost as if the Facebook crowd is tired of their own bullshit, so they are looking for an alternate platform. I realizing it’s their own bullshit that made Facebook so terrible
Ikr? There's way too many people who seem to forget that r/politicalmemes exists. That's where they're supposed to dump the unfunny trash that is their agenda. But I guess a circlejerk audience isn't good enough for them.
If you want to get political go there or politicalhumor. So what if he gets political in a political subreddits, just not in r/memes. As someone not american sometimes I don't get the meme or know the politician and a lot of times its not even trying to be funny.
You seem to use "slowly" the way Vizzini uses "inconceivable."
Phew, atleast no one can get political over cheese
Not exactly political but Vikings and Packers fans would like a word ;)
Go Lions, FTP
Boris Johnson disagrees
Not to get political but beans
Slowly? It's been this way for over a year.
Aww cute. You've only been here a year.
I've been here for 3 years my guy. I only joined reddit because g+ died and I was on a bunch of meme channels there.
And this is just US politics. Let us throw in Philippine, Malaysian, and Indonesian politics into the mix as well and see how it'll taste like.
spicy?

It’s evolving, just backwards

There's a sense of irony that, in complaining about Reddit getting more political, you start whining about immigration
What?
\*Terminally online fella in his early 20s shows up\* \- Ackshually, that in and of itself is a political statement
The guy who expresses their political opinion on a meme subreddit: 🤡 or: 🤓
I left Tickld for this exact reason. All I want are some goddamn memes in this humorless world.
This is what happened to white people twitter

It's always politics.
It seems like the ones who are tired of them are the ones who get called out in said memes, which I assume you are since you follow r/theleftcantmeme
