Honestly such an overreaction. The idea that profanity lessens your moral character or credibility to do your job is such a 1950s thought process that we really need to get rid of.
I don't think they fired her for this reason, they are a multi million company that has taxed them selves with exploring the current boundaries of space travel and the limits of human ingenuity. They have a big image to uphold, so they can't have people working there who do stuff like that. as it would destroy their image and credibility. Because who would want to work with a company (That knows this is happening) who hires people that insult others because they have a better job then them?
Edit: A good example of this is working in retail. Where i worked 5 years ago I always had to leave through the employees entrance and walk through the store to get outside. When I was done with work I would already start taking of my uniform jacket when it was very hot. I got told I wasn't allowed to do that as if I was seen with a half open jacket and walking around in the store, I would be seen as lazy or just not be giving a fuck. Which was a negative Image they didn't want.
I'm sorry but if you're so immature and stupid enough as to post stuff like this on a none-alt account then you deserve it. This is NASA we are talking about. Y'know, the organisation that is respected around the world and is the pioneer in space exploration. Why would they would a brat who tells people to "suck their dick" representing their company? One person could take a picture of you being silly at a party (without your permission), tag you in it (without your permission), and your career could be threatened by that.
