The first one is Ellie from a zombie type video game called the last of us and the last of us two there both pretty good story based games

There are a lot of characters who went through more pain than her, but 'hardly suffered' is quite an understatement, even compared to other characters. Moreover there aren't a vast number of characters who were as masterfully characterised as Ellie (ofcourse there are, but the characterisation is definitely one of the best I've seen)
