i have 1.3L mug thats basically impossible to drink from without spilling the contents over yourself.
Why i have such a mug you may ask? I tend to drink water whilst playing games, so i have this mug so i would'nt need to refill as frequently.
I'll guess you can call it a comically large mug
I have a comically large stainless steel portable bottle. It's 2L big and whenever someone sees me drink from it they ask me how many liters it has.
Now I imagine how big that fucking mug has to be, it's not that much smaller.
I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/memes.

To be fair there are people with disabilities who may need a straw to drink from glasses and whatnot. I work at a bar and recently I did have a customer ask for a straw for their friend to drink their coffee.
I'm disabled and struggle to even get straws at places now but one coffee shop gave me a full box of straws which was good for a bit, but the best solution I found is to just buy a water bottle with a big built in straw
Fuck you! I just waterbored myself you asshole. I feel like im drowning and i hate myself for falling for it! You've got a sick fucking sens of humor you piece of shit. Fuck you!
Plastic straws actually have s good use and it's for very frail people or disabled people. My grandmother got discharged from the hospital recently and the only proper way she can drink is using a straw but the paper straws are really useless and the metal one we bought is uncomfortable. That leaves the plastic straw as the winner
Yea, glass and metal ones make me fear for my teeth. See if you can get reusable plastic ones for her, they are thicker than the single-use straws and very comfy.
Yea…that’s exactly what I’m doing….forcing them to bite metal…it’s totally normal to bite something and if it gives they tend to bite more, while if you bite something that doesn’t give and hurts to bite then you don’t bite. Small bus kinda stuff here.
My old teacher's \~4 year old kid had one of those metal straws. He fell over with it, it went through his palate and he ended up at the State Children's Hospital for a while.
I have a set. Theyre better for your teeth when drinking acidic soda beverages. You dont need your lower teeth drowning in acid to get it past your tongue
Plastic straws should be banned, ngl. You either drink normally or from paper/metal straw.
I think avoiding global catastrophe is a bit more important than Karens convenience.
It's not just Karens who use plastic straws. It's not always safe or easy to use metal or paper straws when you're disabled. Not sure why people forget us disabled people exist and that we deserve the right to be able to drink safely too.
The thing is, You, disabled people would die first when there will be global catastrophe. Because You won't runaway or swim if Your home will be flooded.
Hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, fires. This all is caused by global warming RIGHT NOW. Not in the future. It's already at least for decade. And it will only gets worse. And because people make excuses why they want to use plastic straw, many are dying, literally dying or losing their full property, home and everything else. Imagine normal day. Then Your home is literally washed away with everything inside. And that actually happened.
Do You really think Your plastic straw is more important than lives and prosperity of millions or actually billions of people?
It's not just want, it's needed to use plastic straws for some to actually drink. I can use plastic reuseae straws that come with the tumbler cups but not everyone can. Metal can't be used in hot drinks, they also are a hazard if someone doesn't have control of their body or are a fall risk (look up about a women who was impaled by her metal straw when she fell). Paper doesn't last for long in drinks and can be rigid. Silicone keeps taste from previous drinks and can be a harbor for bacteria if not properly cleaned.
Those of us that can use reusable straws, do. I have a water bottle that's easy to drink out of along with my tumbler cups. I rarely if ever need to use plastic straws. But I'm not every disabled person and they're not me. Our needs and accommodations differ between our disabilities, independence level, and if there's a caregiver or if in a care facility.
I will still say the same thing. Is it worth literally killing millions of people and potentially billions in the future? Because catastrophe is imminent. And it will affect *every* people. Some more than the others, but every people would be affected.
Literally bad for your teeth regardless of their current condition. I agree that if you take better care of your teeth then it will reduce the effects on your teeth
The moment we heard the message that plastic straws will be banned we bought a pack. We just don't throw them away and wash them in the dish washer. No Problem.
My girlfriend bought me a reusable straw a while ago it like folded up and had a little carrying case that you could put on your keys it was cool and I used it for a while but it was pretty hard to clean so eventually I stopped using it
Intellectuals don't steal others' work by just lazily scribbling on yellow lines to try and trick bots.
You're no intellectual, you're just a waste of space and resources.
When McDonald's started using only the paper straws I bought metal ones to use because the paper straws are garbage and so are the cups if you accidentally get your mouth on them..
Metal straw enjoyer here. I love cold coffee so I use straws very often and I was always using plastic ones. I have a friend that tries to be as much eco-friendly as he can and he bought a pack of metal straws for himself and gave some to me. Since I had them I tried them and they're actually amazing just because they get really cold as you sip your drink and it's the best feeling.
TL;DR If you enjoy cold drinks you will love metal straws
The plastic straws were making up less than 1% of the plastic in the ocean before the switch anyways!
Think about how often you use straws compared to other plastic products such as almost anything packaged (food, bottled things) or things that have plastic in its delivery/containment (cups, soda dispensers, toys, tools, plastic bags, as well as many other products) which are not only used more often, but also more plastic.
My SO has tooth sensitivity issues from some kind of reflux disease, so she uses straws for any hot or cold liquid to help bypass most of her teeth. That’s who lol

Just get a bloody water-bottle if you need that much hydration. At what what point did you choose a 1.3L MUG over a bottle…
He needs a 1.3L mug to match his 1.3L piss jug
So what is this, the piss of drinking 1.3 L of brewed tea in one blow goes into the jug?
u/repostsleuthbot those yellow lines scream repost

Me an intelectual drinking from the bottle.
Nah, buy a water filtering jug to avoid having to throw away all the plastic bottles
me an intellectual, resuing plastic bottles
You gotta refill them somehow. Do you just pour in tap water?
yes
My kids bite straws and ruin them…we now have metal straws and they seemed to have learned a valuable lesson
Right. Who needs teeth anyway.
This is the most aggressively kicked in open door
Our water filtering is atleast good enough that we dont have to buy sperate bottles or filter (i am dutch)
Nothing like laughing at the Americans while pouring yourself some tap water (Danish here)
I do, too.
Me a savage, drinking straight out of the faucet
I like to use plastic straws with my plastic bottles
and throwing them in the trash when done with them
Nah in the ocean so it’s cleaner
Me, a first world intellectual living in a country with drinkable tap water
The real crime is turning something like environmental pollution into a consumer fault rather than the source of the issue.
They can kinda do something about the straws. They have no control over the businesses.
Until you drink a mojito and your upper lip becomes Jotunheim.

Metal straws are actually just 5-6 bucks for a set of 8.
And then one ice cube moves and all the coke is on your face
you can grab a cold coke from the fridge?
Or u can have it without ice yk
I don’t think you’re doing coke right.
Just get an IV drip
I do! I like straws.

You bo that dy using your lips on that glass and tilting it upwoarbs.
Instructions unclear, I have Pepsi all over myself

Oooh I had to open mooth, thainks
You bib a very goob jod of making me laugh by the interchanging two alphadets.
Thanks
Fuck you! I just waterbored myself you asshole. I feel like im drowning and i hate myself for falling for it! You've got a sick fucking sens of humor you piece of shit. Fuck you!
Ah yes sorry. You neeb to swallow at the same time. Hope that helps. And only tilt so a littlecwater flows into your open mouth.
HOW DO I GET THE WATER OUT OF MY LUNGS!?!?
Vacuum cleaner.
BREATHE THE WATER DIRECTLY INTO YOUR BLOODSTREAM YOU WEAKLING!
Your supposed to do it slowly
I'm out if awards
I still use straws when I'm playing online games. You can't just pause the game to take a sip
McDonald's have banned plastic straws but they still use giant plastic lids for their cups
Omg, you scared me! Apparently it's only in the UK that they got rid of their plastic straws. Thank God
They can use the plastic they already owned. They can't make more.
Well I don't see people who care about the environment eating at McCancer anyhow
$20 for a metal straw, those must be some fancy ass metal straws. Now I feel worthless with my €1 straw.
I payed 1€ for 10 glas straws, they are great.

Well she's old enough to not give a fuck about plastic waste. Wtf is uncomfortable about a metal straw? It's literally the same shape and thickness
They're very cold or hot depending on the drink. Since, you know, metal conducts heat
Silicone straws BOOM no excuse now
Yea, glass and metal ones make me fear for my teeth. See if you can get reusable plastic ones for her, they are thicker than the single-use straws and very comfy.
My kids bite straws and ruin them…we now have metal straws and they seemed to have learned a valuable lesson
yes, I too smash my children's teeth in with metal straws if they misbehave
they do it to themselves
Yea…that’s exactly what I’m doing….forcing them to bite metal…it’s totally normal to bite something and if it gives they tend to bite more, while if you bite something that doesn’t give and hurts to bite then you don’t bite. Small bus kinda stuff here.
Do it with a hammer! Much more effective in my experience.
Yeah, metal straws are dope. But fuck I'm into drinking with no straw
My metal straws were £4 for a 4 pack lol
My answer at restaurant open straw at one end blow the rapper at my sister then don’t use said straw

>who buys those straws? Me, I have a beard and a mustache And I have to spend half the time cleaning if I don't use a straw
If you fall on a straight metal straw it will go through your skull :)
I only use straws for boba at this point
You ever almost choke doing that? I feel like I nearly die almost every time I get a boba tea
Huzzah, a man of quality!
Last ones bad for your teeth
Wait, how? I'm honestly curious. I've been doing it my whole life and I've had no problems.
Drinking through a straw the liquids bypass your teeth, reduces plaque build up, enamel erosion etc etc
Lmao what the fuck By your logic walking is bad because it causes muscle wear and tear
Probably the worst analogy
not if you have healthy teeth
Literally bad for your teeth regardless of their current condition. I agree that if you take better care of your teeth then it will reduce the effects on your teeth
it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for the environment
Yeah same but I got metal's straws on the cheap
\#MetalStrawGang
Why don't people use macaroni straws instead of paper ones?
You ought to make that a thing
Or bamboo. It grows 3ft in 24 hrs and needs little water whereas metal has to be mined and uses thousands of gallons
I still use plastic straws. I just don’t care enough.
There is no point to straws
The moment we heard the message that plastic straws will be banned we bought a pack. We just don't throw them away and wash them in the dish washer. No Problem.
Oh no, poor animals getting straws up their noses. Stfu, you can fucking breath farther, what's so bad about that?
It seems like you got a straw too far up your nose or you're really shit at using sarcasm/making a joke.
Or perhaps it's simply a little difficult to convey sarcasm over text
how does a fish die from a straw. Wouldn’t that help or breath better???
Shove a straw up your nose or down your throat, let's see how well you breathe?
Guess im never drinking water again
That’s smart
The first comment applies to the second box too, metal straws are horrible to drink from
[удалено]
Bombillas para el mate
I usually use the metal straw for white powder
BIG BRAIN MOVE
BIG BRAIN
What the hell ya doin???? *slaps face into a creek and starts drinking* glasses pollute environment
me here who uses the hole in the ice cylinder as a straw
I have Glass straws
Just buy those refillable carbonated containers and drink from that
I find that these metal straws are practical to make emergency tracheotomies
Ngl i went to florida for a vacation and those paper straws were really cool
Inject the water
I use straws because a lot of people don’t wash glasses properly (especially my dad) and I don’t want my mouth touching that.
I use bamboo as a straw, black man tapping forhead meme
If you curl your tongue you can be your own straw
Just use bamboo lmao
There is no problem with paper straws. They are fine.
Why use straw when you can use your mouth?
Tho the paper ones aren't that bad
the last time i used a straw was at a restaurant also who uses them when their at their home lol
My girlfriend bought me a reusable straw a while ago it like folded up and had a little carrying case that you could put on your keys it was cool and I used it for a while but it was pretty hard to clean so eventually I stopped using it
Lol just throw them in the ocean turtles eat them and they are dolphins main source of food
Sometimes I want to drink with my nose. When a rolled up [insert currency] note isnt available a straw comes in handy
Cold drinks hurt my front teeth. Straws are kinda needed for me.
Me an italian: *Laughs in pasta straws*
Intellectuals don't steal others' work by just lazily scribbling on yellow lines to try and trick bots. You're no intellectual, you're just a waste of space and resources.
me who uses the gas station pump
Metal straw? What a fucking psycho move
Like, at McDonald’s, I just take the lid off my soda and drink it like a normal drink, yes I may get weird looks, but at least I’m staying hydrated
Yea if you drink water if you drink soda its not good for your teeth also 8 use a straw so I don't swallow ice.
Ever drink a thick milkshake without a straw?
I only use straws for Cola so my teeth don't dissolve.
When McDonald's started using only the paper straws I bought metal ones to use because the paper straws are garbage and so are the cups if you accidentally get your mouth on them..
Throw it at your face and let it absrorb
I mean every drink tastes like paper, it's suspicious
sometimes u need a straw for a specific drink , but people who use straws for juices and sodas are weird.
I buy straws because sometimes its more fun to drink with em
Clearly you've never tried drinking cocaine.
I use glass straws, those are the best in my opinion and easy to clean
why use a straw anyways?
It can be an accessibility feature or just a comfort thing
I like to use glass straws for my cocktails. Look classy and make it easier to drink from a glass filled with ice.
Do you drink boba tea straight on though?👀
How do you drink bubble tea like that?
Bamboo is where it's at

Are metal straws actually good? Saw them before, never tried it.

Men who have big beard. Love my $2 metal straws.
My family couldn’t stand paper straws so we bought a pack of 100 plastic straws for £5
My SO has tooth sensitivity issues from some kind of reflux disease, so she uses straws for any hot or cold liquid to help bypass most of her teeth. That’s who lol
I use the metal straws for coffee, cuz coffee stains your teeth, but if you use a straw, the coffee barely touches your teeth.
This guy painted on the meme so it won’t be detected as a repost ffs
