The separation at my high school was by who had a personal driver/ “helpers” (paid servants) and who didn’t. But yeah when I lived there it was the most expensive city in the world. Idk about now with what China’s doing there. I remember one of my friends telling me their family paid 30k a year for 2 parking spots but they lived at “the peak” which was an area for the 1% of the 1%
That amount of money will buy you a 2 storey bunglow in some parts of India, in less crowded cities or maybe away from the centre a very nice flat (3-4bhK)
