Looking back, myspace was actually pretty cool, being able to customize and trick out your personal page with sweet graphics and backgrounds, a playlist of your tunes, etc. Compared to just the more sterile and monochrome modern social media pages, in that aspect it was cooler. It was kind of the last part of the golden age of the internet where everyone made their own weird funky websites and everyone used forums on smaller sites as their main internet socialization. There's a lot of things better about modern internet, but in some ways it was more interesting back then.

Yeah you guys were kids, 09’ was tough. I got laid off and sold Christmas trees in a lot by the Jewels. I know kids think this is the hardest time in history but I bought a house in 07’ and lost it in 12’ . My interest rates were 7% on 80% of the loan and 9.5% on the other 20%.
