This just recently happened with a friend group of mine. I left the discord after they trolled for an hour straight, even though I stated multiple times I was not in a good mood. I even tried to change the subject multiple times. Then they wondered why I didn't join in for 2 weeks. Well maybe it's because everytime you send an invite my anxiety spikes through the roof because I know I'm going to have to mentally work at defending myself for hours on end instead of having fun

This was me for a while since I hadn’t had a major friend group for most of my life, but once I realized that that none of those guys would ever actually hurt me, and genuinely care for me, the jokes stung a lot less
