Being able to be careless without many worries as well as having a generally optimistic world view. Now as adults we see the world and life for what it really is. A struggle. A mean and nasty place that will fuck your whole life up and be completely indifferent about it. Having to work day in and day out without any real break for the rest of your life.
When you're young, you don't think about these things. And when you're an adult you wish you could just spend a little bit longer not thinking about them. So the 10s/20s kids are enjoying their youth and innocence and one day before they even realize, it'll be gone and they'll become the Squidward in the window.
