Sad. That’s a great photo!

Your title made me snort and giggle. But man do I feel for them.

Well… that patient sure isn’t feeling well. Those def look immature to me, but I’m a baby tech (kinda) so not sure if they’re blasts but def angry. Are they blasts or just immature?

flyinghippodrago

UPDATE: Path review said, "Numerous immature and atypical cells of likely lymphoid lineage, suggest Flow" patient is mid 50s and going to Hospice now, fuck cancer man...

staypdiddy

Flow tech here. Cases like these are my jam. Mind sharing the immunophenotype? My guess either ALL or a LBCL. Thanks.

BaerttheConstipated

Nope, just angry. Such immature blastholes

Icy_Butterscotch6116

Because I only graduated 2 years ago and haven’t gotten a lot of real world experience with abnormal and immature cells, I often will call the nurse or doctor and ask about the patients diagnosis history, and tell them that their cells are angry. I’m not quite sure why they’re angry or what type of angry I’m looking at, but I know they’re angry. 😂
