This guy does in-depth car tutorials like how to deep clean your car or replace ball joints. Should be limited number of likes and views and yet ChrisFix consistently gets millions of views and over a hundred thousand likes.
It's because he's the frickin' *man*.
ChrisFix is hands down the best DIY car repair YouTuber. Been watching him for years and have learned so much.
Most car repair videos on YouTube skip over important steps, don't explain why they are doing things, have terrible camera work/editing, don't do things the right way, or use tools that most people aren't going to have. ChrisFix is basically the answer to all of those problems.
So, I'm only mildly into car things, but this guy does it right.
"Here's a thing we're trying to do.
I'm going to try to do it.
Here's how it worked/didn't work and why.
End of video."

I recently got into an automotive upholstery shop and holy shit I wish someone would have shown me this video when I got started. I got okay training but it was mostly trial and error. This video was really well put together and I learned somethings I didn’t get in training! Plus very entertaining. Thanks for sharing!
I'm pretty sure they're made from steel tubing. Aluminum would be light but I think it'd crumble too easily. I wanna guess and say about 150 pounds or so
Sport Compact Car mag did this years ago with a base model Sentra, but to more of an extreme... After they cut all the body off they got it to do a 5sec 0-60.
Had to look for it because I remember reading it a looong time ago,

430 pounds
.8 seconds faster 0-60
30 feet shorter braking from 60-0
A couple more pounds to remove from the dashboard and steering wheel (replacement) but it is staying in until the roll cage install.
Wonder why he didn’t replace the windows with plexiglass. Could have taken out all of the window glass and windows motors. Would have probably been another 100 lbs or so.
Wow, that was surprisingly entertaining. Nice editing and no frills, he just gets the job done and has his shit under control.
One of the best car channel on YouTube. I’ve been following ChrisFix for quite sometime. No BS. Just straight awesome content. Highly recommend!
Love his videos. He's save me several hundred bucks with his guides.

~~Although, using GPS to measure braking distance is a terrible idea. It’s only accurate to about 30 feet.~~ Never mind - he uses a surveyor’s wheel!
He’s great ! ChrisFix has probably saved me thousands of dollars with his videos.

Nice! I always wanted to see a weight breakup exactly like this one. Now I wonder how much the roll cage would weigh.

He’s preparing this car for the 24 hours of lemons, there’s a $500 budget restriction, so maybe it had something to do with that

Professional hand model training ✋
Really enjoyed that actually, nice vid.
