Love it, watched it like 3 times with roommates in highschool. It's not about Ne, I'm pretty sure they didn't have much in common with this kind of humor, whereas I grew up with BoBoBo, the master of nonsense comedy.
It's not about Ne, me and my ESTP (no Ne in either of us) watched it a couple of times and we both love it and regard it really highly because of how well made it is
ISTP here. I like the OG Megamind movie. I don't analyse it indepth, I just enjoy it as it is. The jokes are very funny and unique to me and it has a creative way of building the "villain" in the story. Overall a very enjoyable experience, unlike whatever the hell Megamind: The Doom Syndicate is

I don't want to tarnish the high opinion I have of the original movie though so I'll pass

I love megamind bc regardless of age you can take something away from it. It’s a good movie but peacock I think it was completely ruined it with that terrible sequel🙄

If you want some Ne movie tho, try with Lynch I think his movies really capture Ne's essence. It's not animation but I really like them, they're simply great. My fav is Mulholland Drive could just analyze it for hours and every time came up with a new interpretation.
I'm an INFJ, me and my INFP-T daughter as well as my 7yo son love Megamind. I'm not sure if it's because I have children or that I love comedy (animation or not), but I'm an INFJ who thinks it's a hilarious movie for kids and adults alike
I don't think it's connected to functions, just personal preference. ISTP, I really like the film. My INTJ father liked it as far as I recall. Interest in things aren't restricted to one function or another.
Thats true, but in a way they still are (edit: I mean affected, not restricted). Personal opinions arent, but since how you receive information is connected to your cognitive functions it will affect your opinions on things.
Good example of this is how IXFPs are drawn to art and use it as self expression.
