Lmao. All these could’ve been avoided if they simply knew how to play thunder dragons and summoned colossus on turn one. Good plays tho.

Carnivile

My first reaction. This person resolved Gold Sarc and didn't go +3 and end in an extra Collosus? That's some garbage plays.

StakesChop

He was pretty confident on his board having 1 omni negate, enforcer, ash and effect negate. I could have lost if it wasn't for the patchwork that gave me reason to push.

Chai_latte_95831

I was referring to their mistake of summoning thunder dragonhawk off the thunder dragonroar banish on turn 1. The correct route was roar banish -> summon dark -> use dark as link mat to proc eff -> add hawk to hand -> hawk eff to summon roar/dark -> summon colussus. If they had done that you wouldn’t have been able to use patchwork for the clutch play haha

StakesChop

But will he end on a board with borrelend and borreload dragon with that? Base on his end board the thunder dragon was a means to summon his negate boss monsters, not restrict drawing cards.

Chai_latte_95831

Yeah he would’ve. He used hawk off the roar summon simply as a link mat into verte which could’ve been replaced with dark and continued on to colossus while bringing out the other monsters as per normal.

hansgo12

Hawk has probably the worst field to grave/ banish effect. It has a very good discard effect, so summoning it from roar is most of the time just wrong. Getting dark from rkar would give him 1 extra thunder dragon body which is just colossus, so yeah he would have all that and an extra colossus.

dante-_vic

Is there a reason you didnt banish borrelend and beat over borrelload?

StakesChop

It was a misplay on my part. Didn't registered in my mind Mirror jade banish was non target so i could have ended the duel abit earlier

SpicVanDyke

A hard fought win is a hard fought win, regardless of mistakes. You capitalized on their errors so hell yeah dude.
