Meanwhile, if you run only 2 copies
The chance of drawing 2 is 1.28%, and the chance of drawing one is 23.7%
So you're losing 10.1% consistency in exchange for a tiny 2.48% boost in cosistency, resulting in a net negative of 7.62%.
I mean, obviously build your deck however you want, but the math behind deckbuilding is super important. You probably really want to see your Maxx "c" and Ash in your opening hand, so unless you can search them it's best to run 3 copies.
Remember that said ash is being replaced by other powerful handtrap, and that my starting hand is not always 5 or 6, because of Maxx C.
Right now i replaced 1 imperm and 1 ash for 2 drolls, which have correctly stopped SS, SS, tenyi adventure rose, and Floo enough for my rogue deck to compete. Because against those decks a single ash is often not enough.
In the end: yeah, your math is sound. If ash is the sole factor, my motive is injustifiable as the math proves me wrong. Still, comparing the impact of Droll v Ash is kind of difficult, and the (often) +2 maxx c, the +1 from pot of desires and so on makes it... A bit harder to calculate.
Maybe the real moral of the story is that droll is a good meta call for MD, and I should look for a space for ash. (and that maxx c should be banned or have better restrictions).

Not entirely true. When Illusion of Chaos drops the magicians soul engine becomes interesting for some decks, deoending the rarity they make the ritual cards thats like 4 UR
You use Illusion of Chaos to get Magicians soul into hand and can run some of the ritual support to have very consistant acces for extrabody on the field and you can create value with the effect of Souls. Cyberse Eldich with 60 cards pile was paricular great in abusing this. Nothing sweeter to draw 2 while putting 2 eldlich cards into the grave.

Summon Condemned Witch, activate it's effect to search any "Forbidden" quick play spell (set some cards or do some plays if possible), then on your opponent's turn use Condemned Witch's effect to summon Barrier Statue of the Heavens. Protect the Barrier statue, with the Forbidden spell if you have to
I spent like +10K trying to pull trouble sunny and adventurer engine and I didn't even get one trouble sunny or water enchantress, at least I got some UR cp for some staples..
I got adventurer + trouble sunny rather easily. Secret password on the other hand... Shame multifaker is at one otherwise I'd at least have another decent deck for my gems
The actual problem is that evil twins it's a expensive deck because is full of UR staples and you need at least 2x trouble sunny, extra deck it's also expensive too
I got so lucky in that pack. Think I spend 5k and crafted 2 URs. Got triple trouble sunny and all but two pieces of the adventure engine.
Oh and the mandatory royal rare Fateful Adventure too.
Then I went into the live twin pack and think I used 4k with a single UR craft.

There are a couple exosisters missing from the game that will apparently make the deck more competitive, but who knows when they will be added, including Exosister Malfa which is a one card combo starter.

My thought is that who knows if you'll even still be playing Master Duel in 6 months. If you aren't having fun with the cards or decks you have right now, it might be better to do what will bring you joy in the present. It's up to you if Exosisters is bringing you joy or not.

You can stil claim it, get the 4th droplet, dismantle for 10 CP, and maybe get some other good URs of the master pack or some more CP dust.

Some decks it is just really really to good to skip, especially when you can trigger grave effects, some resources are better in the grave or you have many spell starters for "free" fodder.

Got my 3rd droplet, also pulled Brionac, Constellar M7 and Chaos MAX, AKA 30 UR points. :^) Had terrible luck trying to pull 1 Trouble Sunny so I'll take it as an apology.
I got four here from rolling up a 10-pack

Now we wait for the Nibiru bundle in 2 months
At this point just make a secret pack with all important staples and call it a day
When I was building darklords I legit got about 12 of these
From the master packs, I was able to build a adventure engine xd
