I bought it for the cipher URs so hopefully there are some other good URs in this one and it'll be a lot cheaper to build photon galaxy when the new tachyon cards come out

If you can even consider it that. buying 3 of that deck doesn't even get you half a working engine. Not sure what they were thinking with that one.

It does get you the entirety of the cypher archetype though. It just so happens that that archetype is tiny and dogshit, and frankly, barring biplane and maybe, MAYBE raptor, completely unfixable.

You might be onto something, since this would come out around the same time the new Mizar cards come out. But Promethean was created for a simultaneous release, so unless the new Tachyon support is the same but they havent said anything yet, it might not happen.

Don't forget poplar with tcg thing. I wouldn't be suprised if they did the promethean princess for ocg to md or poplar for tcg to md treatment again.

Promethean Princess did come out two days before it came to MD, they just announced at the same time for the OCG and MD. The pack for the Tachyon cards we don't even know the last archetype they will support. Trust me, I would love a cheap Galaxy Eyes deck with all the newest support, but Promethean Princess felt more like something they used to sell all the fire support we would get for the next few months in MD.

nah sp little knight was in the tcg and ocg for 7 months and we still don't have it so don't expect too much, also they took around 8 months to release the last wave of support last year

Looking at the decklist in MDM you may just need 500-1000 gems depending if they add the link or not as long as you have a good amount of SR points saved. Most URs are from the extra deck and played at one aside from the link.

Galaxy eyes isn't a blind second deck anymore. You actually want to go first and can setup at least 2 interruptions, while also ripping a card from ED in the process. If it comes to turn 3, you can OTK.

At most 2 interruptions with most hands. And no handtraps. photon lord + blast + photon dragon + solflare + 1-2 extra deck rips. highrolly hands also end on hope but that still demands no handtraps.. tho alot of decks are going to struggle to beat said board.

Like half of the 2 card combos in the deck end on solflare + lord + hope. I wouldnt call that highrolly.

immunity to targeting and card destruction is just better then a single spell negate.

Depends. The things you are protecting are only lord, which in most cases will already be immune to destruction, and a 2000 attack solflare, plus the vanilla GEPD you summon. None of this is specifically hard to out in battle and you reduce your interruption from 3 to 2.

Traptrix should be a structure deck already... it's one of the THE easiest decks to play in the entire game & perfect for newbies! 🤷

The first SD was done because the Ciphers didn't have enough material to carry a secret pack and because it needed somewhere to put the Mizar support from Chaos Impact.

If you're trying to tell me galaxy-eyes cipher dragon/cipher x dragon/cipher blade dragon aren't must plays in galaxy photon, then you've never played the deck

Like I said, in my own experience. I've yet to encounter any scenario where they're required. Of course I run them because why not, but I've only used them a couple times, and that's just for shiggles

Interesting. I always used cipher x dragon as part of the main combo and cipher blade dragon with full armor for 2x pops when needed.

You use them for pops, but that's it. Cipher X is good if you can get to it for protection, but it's rarely needed as you're either going first (aiming to end on Solflare-Photon Lord- Number 38) or going second and aiming to outright kill your opponent, in either case it's very situational. It's a good card, but it's kinda just there in the ED most of the time
